So far the line, although very slow moving, has been:

Aragorn: home run
Gandalf: home run
Legolas: looks to be amazing
Gimli: looks to be a home run
Boromir: looks to be a home run
Arwen: WTF
Witchking: looks to be a home run

I would say Arwen looks to be amazing at worst IMO and the Snow Troll is a home run as well.

I know I'm being harsh on her, and I should wait until shipment. Suppose I'm just raw from not being able to order her straight out of the gate, as she is kind of a minor speed bump on the already rocky road of collecting the new maquette line. And she has never even reached the low quantity bar yet, after being up for so long...

Believe me, and I've said it before, I hope I'm wrong, and she comes out shockingly amazing. Then I will be forced to go after her in the aftermarket.

Oh, and the Snow Troll is not in the maquette line!

Well, I take that back, because I just checked and she is now down to about 60 exclusives left. I may have to put a safety order in when she initially sells out, avoid the NRD that way maybe. I do want her in my collection, but not how she appears in the prototype images on Sideshow's website.

Yeah, I had no problem with her at SDCC. Maybe something is wrong with me...

The problem with a few of the photos on Sideshow's site is they're washed out. Now, take some of the photos at comic-con and what you saw with your eyes and thats more of what you will get

Gandalf has been the only one I really didn't care for. The soft detail more so than the iffy pose, but overall this line has been great so far.
Aragorn and Leggy are the best maquettes imo.

Yes, I got the ETA notice today too. Credit cards should start being charged on Wednesday, November 2. Frankly, I was hoping for a little later date, but I'll manage.

I certainly hope he'll be as good as the other two in-hand statues have been!

Well, there was another recent release that ended up having major QC issues that only shipped the EX version.

That is not, not happening to this piece. There is no booty to screw up, and Legolas is only 1/6 scale, not 1/4 scale. Please, please don't let that happen to my favorite line...

And yes, mine is an exclusive.
