Some heads done... Here's Leon at long last! The Superman heads are starting to roll out too...

You know looking back at my Leon head , and the rest of the heads of course.
There not just painted awesome , there seems to be different states of emotion captured in each one.
Leon looks so sad and lonely ( which is perfect of course ).
Hmm... I don't know how you do it !.

I have a few more Supes to do, some more singles and mostly ones on bodies, full customs, and those are still delayed a bit for parts, so indeed one of those painted heads shown may be your's. I just got to them, almost randomly, since I am working on so much at one time, and the Clark Kent project got done due the need to get it out of the way of other sculptng and casting work. Some folks had paid for an unpainted CK a while back, so I had to get that going and out.
No preferential treatment here, no time or means, just getting to some of these as best I can. At least you Superman folks now can believe I am actually getting to them at all!
I did soften the brows on most of them, and did my coats, glossed eyes etc., and that makes him look a bit less sinister. Always does for some reason.

Ooh Les I see sir Roger Moore!! Even if it's not mine I'm still excited! Damn Leon is breathtaking. I'm super jealous I want one of those! That head is great though. I'm sure it was a lot less great before Les got to it. Where's it from?

Either way Les has done an awesome job of it.

Could be wrong, but it looks a lot like the Hubert sculpt from Dragon. Basically Jean Reno from the Wasabi film.

It was a blank cast so if it was it had been recasted.
The seller appeared to be selling a few recasts. Probably still is.
Wouldn't be suprised on ebay !.
It is a great sculpt.

Ah.. just been looking before I posted this and found an image of the figure.
It looks like it could be this sculpt. Its a shame the paint ruins the likeness so much if it is the same one.

Les's paint has made it look like a completely different sculpt !.

I paint what I am sent. I make no moral judgment calls on commissioned work sent to me. That is not my domain. Judge, jury and executioner. Give me a break. I paint heads. This was sent to me. I had no idea, nor did the sender, so who cares. It needed painting! I painted it.
Move on.

And for what it's worth, it was a pleasure to paint for you. Hope to have it shipped soon. Enjoy it with a clear conscience. It was a nice sculpt, or was based on one, wherever it came from.

Not sure. Looks to be a Live and Let Die Moore. Your's are soon also my friend. All of them. Hang in there. Lots to post and get out of the way. :chew
