Not many Indys left in my arsenal. I will be reassessing my time when I am caught up at summer's end, but it is not as likely as it used to be whether I will do any more Indys or not. Thanks for the interest, and maybe some PFs and some Predators may come lurking out of me from time to time, but fewer and fewer 1/6 as I am pretty much moving away from that scale paintwise. Thanks for asking Mr. VanDyne.
Sent off a few heads today, at last. Not many, but a few. Emails and PMS sent with/to whom need them.
My time is split this week, as my 93 year old aunt had a stroke Sunday, and at first, I thought she could no longer speak, and with so many stories about WWII left for me to get, I was terrified it was all lost. She is still in hospital, so not sure how she is doing. Thin as a rail and so old, but the old girl has a lot of spirit. Prayers welcome.
Sis is down to visit her and Ma and us, so I will be glad to see her too. Long days at the Walker house lately...

I'm very sorry to hear about your aunt Les. I wanted to get the story of how my grandparents met before WWII on video, and I never did. I'm fascinated, and very interested in those stories of our relatives. Very cool. My prayers are with you as always. "VBR"

Hey Les. Did you see G.I. Joe The Rise Of Corbra yet? I did on Saturday night. I really enjoyed it. Yeah, I'm an old "die-hard" old school Joe fan, but I took this movie with a HUGE grain of salt. I had a good time. It was fun, and Ray Park as Snake Eyes (my favorite Joe) was great.

Busy, Mooncat, busy! I have meant to get in here for ages, and have had several real world things intrude, my Aunt almost dying, but now in a nice, and I do mean NICE Nursing home, she is better, my Mom having some med problems too, but she is doing MUCH better, and told me to say hi to everyone. Now, I am watching out for my Dad. Still dreading next month's possible move....
Also, along and along, been overseeing some of the art on a local Children's theatre production of Alice in Wonderland, and helping them design their stuff, (not involved in actual presentations or anything, I don't do that stuff!) but helping the very kind family that is running it, as they have their financial livelihoods on the line for this, and I felt kinda compelled to help them when they asked me to, as they have 5 kids and all. Anyway, that comes to a close for me, after this weekend.
And, most importantly, me almost having a heart attack about a week back, yes, damn near, due to the heat here, and me, getting overexerted out in our yard in 95+ degree, humid weather like I think I'm 20 again. Just call me IDIOT and that will suffice, so I am having a FULL PHYSICAL either this next week or soon. Full. I am overdue as is.

So, with ALL THAT going on at one time, PLUS the head and customs work, I am slower than I wanted to be for the last two or three weeks. I can now start posting some work again though. AND, more to ship! So, at last CLEARING OFF THE BED!
So, I will be back with more pics and info soon. More emails to those that are shipped to, and please, if I have shipped out to you, and emailed you when I did, please let me know when you get your goods! I have had a couple that have not yet, so I wanna make sure everything gets to where it's going. I ALWAYS do Delivery Confirmations no matter what. And Customs numbers on all Internationals. There will be tracking info when your stuff goes out.
So, look for lots soon. I am so ready for a break!

Hey Les its to bad to hear all the string of bad luck you've been having. I feel sometimes when reading your post that if anyone should win the lottery its you, because you've been through so many bad things this year alone you could use something good right now.
Also I'm sadden that you wont be doing anymore Indy's with Small Studios adding him to the retired list, I don't think anyone else is repainting him
but I'm glad to hear that you are moving on to PF's and other things, I hope all is well and stay out of that heat .

Hi Les. Be VERY careful in the heat! I know from living most of my life in southern Louisiana that the heat/humidity will knock you on your butt...FAST! It's done it to me many times doing yard work, moving, etc. So always take breaks, and drink a LOT of water! Keep yourself hydrated, and try not to push yourself too hard. I tend to push myself, and have to back it down a notch or two, and slow down. So, please take care of you first. The paintings on the head sculpts and all of the other things can wait. It's good to hear that you were able to help that family with the play. I looked at your posts about it on facebook. It sounds like they had a great production. If I was there, I'd take my little girl with me, and we'd go and see it!

Still alive.
Have had my time split lately with several outside things, some personal and health related, and some family related, taking me away from some work time, but I have kept working when time allowedm and to further accomodate this, I am completely restructuring my remaining workload, and CLEANING UP and reorganizing it all, so I am less overwhelmed by it all, and shipping all I can out. I am taking my bed back this weekend! Progress.
Yes I am still behind, but I am catching up. Have only sent emails and shipping info out to those folks whom I have shipped to, and spent time actually PAINTING, rather than posting, and updating and photos, etc., so look for your personal updates soon.
I'd hoped for by the end of this month to be completely finished, and some of your's will be, but not all. Still just one guy working alone here, but I still am persevering to finish as I must.
Again, the situation is changing here for me that will not allow me to run too much longer, so I have to finish soon. We may be moving by Oct or so, or around that time, so I cannot allow myself to have anyone's work still here by then.
If nothing else, THAT news should be a good piece of info for those that still wait. There is a sort of large wall coming for me that I cannot avoid.

But maybe the move will get you into a better neighborhood with more people. I hope it all works out for you. I think I have sent you my new address since we moved about 3 months ago.
