Quick note of extreme importance for me today:
At 1pm or so today, my mom fell and hit her head and broke a part of her right hip. It didn't break the ball part of the femur, which could have been worse pain-wise, but it did push the ball up and into her hip socket a tad deeper, and is for her, an inoperable situation, or rather incorrectable without some really life threatening surgery, so...facing that fact, and the fact that she may not walk again. That is tough for me today.
Yeah. That the day after her birthday too. At least she had a good one.

Just dropped in to say, don't panic, I am on the case with work, but as you can see, I got some real tough stuff to deal with for a couple of days, and will not be in communication much here or anywhere.
But, know I am still working as fast as I can, doing my best work yet, and shipping soon even more stuff.

Thanks to all for the kind words of late. I appreciate it. Pics of new paints to come and more.

And please, any prayers sent my mom's way are appreciated! I could use them as much as she can. It's hard seeing your parents age and get hurt. Damn hard.
At least, after the last couple of years, I am more ready emotionally for it all than ever before. I have a lot of you to thank for that.

Just wanted to share that with those here that care.

Great news, Chouzi. Thanks everyone. Sluggish headed today. Didn't sleep much last night. Popped out of bed this morning and went and saw Ma, and she's better since being off morphine and onto Percodan for the pain. Man, there's a reason morphine is what it is! Anyway, long days coming. She has no idea yet of the gravity of her injury. It's gonna take some time for it all to sink in. I just hope she doesn't give up now. I've really got to keep her spirit flying.

Anyway, speaking of that, I am still excited, in the midst of this, of the work I have done lately. I am glad some is getting out to you guys. Sorry for yet another setback, but it won't last forever without me able to do more or ship. Just keep us in your prayers, and know I am grateful and working better than ever because of you all and your faith in me. That is priceless to me now. Thanks so much!
 
Oh jeez Les, it never rains but it pours eh ? The cycle of bad luck must come to an end soon. I don't know how you keep going to be honest, I have seen people fall with lesser burdens . Your kung fu is indeed strong. I'm glad that your mom had a great birthday before this and I hope that she sees a relief from some of the pain fairly soon.

Looking forward to seeing some more of your works too, pictures do not do any of them justice ! ( and when those lucky Guys receive them they will indeed too echo my sentiments ! )

I hope your Mom recovers swiftly man, she at least has people there watching out for her plus the support from home. She's a sweet lady, I hope everything works out.

And I am loving your energy right now man, keep that fire going and you will get through the work faster than you can imagine.

Wow, that is incredible! Kudos to all involved! The headsculpt is spot on and the painting of the hair is especially impressive. I love the talent I'm seeing on this forum!

:lecture got that right.
The first sculpt I got painted from Les in a little box was more like the ending to seven. Too real. :monkey2:lol

hey man hope your ma feels better, and try not to worry about getting work finished, your to much of a gentleman and need to be a little more selfish.
