Astouding work on the Indy PF head sculpt Les! Between Trevor's fine sculpting, and your great paint job...it truly looks exactly like Harrison Ford did back in 1981! Incredible! :D

I hope things get better for you and your family Les. My prayers are with you as always. Send some here for us. We had a great time at Disney World last week. But...my mother-in-law had an "episode" while we were there. She woke up and didn't know where she was or who we were for a little while. She spent two days in a hospital in Orlando, and is now back in a hospital here at home in Slidell. They're running lots of tests on her today again. Come to find out that she's got alzheimer's in her early '60s. So that's definitely not good.

VBR Les!

Mike

Thanks everyone. Trevor especially. Again, you rock my friend!

Mike, sorry to hear that. Keep your chins up. I hate hearing she's in her 60's and that's setting in. Man. Sorry to hear that.

I just got back home from one of my very best friend's mom's funeral. Let me tell ya, that leaves you lacking when you walk back into your home and realize your buddy's life is never gonna be the same. She took care of him. It's gonna sting for him for a long time. I guess I'm feeding him supper on Saturdays now. He always comes by, and we talk figures and stuff. Now, might have to add a meal to that. Poor guy. Gonna miss his mom too. She was a great lady.

ANYWAY...man, so much bad news! It makes it hard to think. Must keep my walks and better eating and keeping at the brushes going strong.

Thursday I have to take my dad to Jacksonville to consult with a doctor, surgery coming. And in all this, my sister's coming down to see about my Mom (She's better each day. Bit by bit...) and my brother will come down in the next week or two. So it's fruit basket turnover down here in Les-Land.

But never fear! The Kung Fu's still strong, the work bench's still covered in ever closer to finished heads, and the recent spate of serious Kung Fu Treachery seems to be temporarily at bay. So, maybe in all this, I can ship out soon, not only this PF Indy, but some other late late guys too.

It never ends down here, but I am still on the case!

Rockin' at it with my best efforts, gang! :rock

Thanks again all.

More to come!

Les this repaint is FANTASTIC. You've got it perfectly with Raiders look

Congrats man:joy

PD.: THIS IS MY MESSAGE NUMBER OF THE BEAST :LOL

Having NEVER painted a PF before, and really enjoying the scale for once (my eyes), I had to take time to get a few shots of this one. It is not nearly as shiney as it looks due to my flash and camera, I just couldn't get shots without this blasted sheen, but it does have some intentional look of sweat here and there, so maybe those come through.

Anyway, amidst the last couple of weeks of work, and family traumas (Ma's fall, my sister's in-laws house burning down), I have kept painting when I could, and wanted to get at least the PFs out of here and make room on my desk for more of the other stuff, so finally, here's some PF work.

Indy at last. Trevor, you always stun me. Always. It was an honor to paint your work again. It always is.

Hope to ship this and more out this week. LOTS going on with my Mom. I've been at her side a lot this week. She's still in pain, and on heavy pain meds, as she has to have a lot of therapy to ever walk again, so please keep those thoughts and prayers coming. My sister's in-law family is all safe, they just lost a lot, including two cars, so some prayers for an old couple in north Atlanta would be welcome too.

Tired, and weary, but battling and painting for all of you still. Keeping Kung Fu Treachery at bay! (Nod to Black Dynamite :D who I must have a figure of someday...) and keeping Hope alive and my Kung Fu strong!

Back soon with more news as I can.

Thanks all!! :rock

Wow Les, that repaint is amazing!

And Les, your positivity to stressful situations is very admirable. I wish I could stay as positive as you bro.

Which hospital you going to Les? There are some really good ones here and then there are some not so good ones too.

I know my company has done some jobs with Shands and Baptist South and one of my friends did a lot of upgrades to an Orange Park Hospital.

Hi Les. Yeah, aging parents are a challenge, as you well know first-hand. We're doing the best we can with my wife's mother here. Taking it day by day now.

Keep the "kung-fu grip" going "grasshopper"! :D

DA, It's going to be amazing to have Les' Indy PF repaint next to your Anakin PF repaint on my shelf. :rock :rock :rock

Thanks man, it would be an honor to share the shelf with that masterpiece! :rock

And speaking of Anakin, I have the evil one done (after your "ok" on the evilness of his look, that is).... pics later today. :devil

Thanks for the kind words, gang.
And rock on that Ani there, Josh. But beware, for I too have an Evil Anakin PF DONE and ready to ship. In fact, I have quite a few things, but have to make more money to do anything like shipping with them yet. Bills are still eating my meager income, and a serious answer to that, the B word, is a serious possibility to help me get some of this debt off my shoulders and make all this work better for you guys in the long run. Been thinking of what I can do to revamp everything once I am completely caught up again. NO WAY I do things like before. And no way I work with a mountain of debt on my shoulders. Just doesn't work.

Anyway, some things coming for a few of you this week for sure, but I have to sell a few things also, and then will ship more. ( got a couple of pieces to finish that are pay-afters also, that were not in front of the line, that have been hard to get to, that will help pay shipping on a lot of stuff also)

Plus, it's been slow for me to work this last week. The week of three (actually four, but it is more removed) really BAD news things that really messed my week's flow up.
Quick updates on that, Ma is better, but always in pain, since her fall that broke her hip. I fed her lunch today, but she's really out of it. At least she's steady, and not calling me like she was. Sis' family is safe and sound and hanging out in her home and their beach house, since losing their home to a fire. OK there. And my friend Buster, who lost his mom a week ago, is low key and not heard from. I hate that still. His mom was a great lady and I miss the hell out of her myself. Forth thing is ongoing, bad news, but not too immediate. involves more distant family.
There's always some bad news somewhere. Getting rather used to it nowadays.

Speaking of which, hope anyone affected by the earthquake in Chile is ok. Scary day yesterday. Glad it wasn't worse globally.

Anyway, WORK...gonna take a needed walk, then sit down and paint more today and tomorrow and the rest of the week, trying to keep my recent groove going. Still here, still fighting. Got a lot of stuff in the can, but don't panic and send me a ton of "Is mine ready yet?" emails and PMs yet, if you wouldn't mind, as I will for sure be Emailing and PM'ing you when I have them done.

I will be contacting those I am shipping out to this week. Hope your's are in there, and if they are not. THEY WILL BE SOON. I cannot say that enough. So much is SO CLOSE if not about done, that it's getting me actually excited again. I may be done with ALL this soon. That is for me, the best news of the year.

And despite my retirement from paints in general, I am considering some LIMITED repaints for some of you that have contacted me about them. And please note, I am VERY appreciative of the new solicitations regarding PF paints, as I admit, they are very inviting to me after two years worth of smaller12" scale backlog. I prefer the larger PF scale due to my ever aging eyesight, so I may be more than willing to paint more of those when I can. Just let me get caught up with this other work, and then I may just take a few. Thanks again. That is very kind of you all.

Now, back to it! I got some serious stuff to finish!
Thanks also for all the kind words this last week. It's been a rough one!

Have a great week everyone! :rock

More to come!

Damn, that's some incredible intensity on that Mace Windu head. I love the emotion Les is able to put into sculpts with his eye paint work.

He did the same thing with my Leon. He managed to make a sculpt with a blank face somehow look depressed and tired , perfect for the character.
Amazing work as always Les. :rock

Damn Les, that sucks to hear about Buster's Mom. She was a very sweet lady. Please tell Buster that my thoughts are with him during this rough time.

Sharing some Les PF goodness ! :rock

Updated pics will come when he is actually on the body !

You still and will always rock my friend ! :rock2
