Tell that to Randy. He is laughing all the way to the bank.
He got he's nosers so he'll be fine but #1 he's not anymore, and hasn't been in years

bowen designs has the best marvel representation in 1/6 scale and mini-bust. the size is ideal for the collector with limited space...like most of us, and the selection cannot be compared to. i had amassed a huge bowen collection but i've sold about half of it now and i'm in the process of selling most of what remains. i did't like the treatment i received from interacting with mr. bowen himself on a collectors forum and i decided that i didn't want to collect his pieces anymore.
I agree that SSC is the best at 1/4 scale statues, but that probably is due more to a lack of competition than anything else. Sometimes SSC hits a home run. Sometimes. . .a failed bunt attempt. Usually this comes down to paint apps and other QC issues. Sculpts are frequently top notch, even if I don't personally care for the style (artist's lines, for example). But when you see the paint apps Hot Toys and Enterbay can deliver, it makes you realize there is lots of room for improvement.
Small statues don't do anything for me and I don't really follow what Bowen and others are doing in that department.
i wouldn't say gg are far behind like this is amazing imo

this will sell for $500, will measure 1/8 and this is only a proto.
Koto are doing well with Marvel

Yeah... I mean, I really like about 95% of the 1/4 scale statues I've seen from Sideshow (new to collecting).
But this pricing is ridiculous. This isn't a knock on the people who make, design, paint, sculpt, etc these statues. Because, I mean Skaar was my first and only statue, and it's absolutely fantastic.
But 650$ for the avengers Hulk maquette!? They shouldn't charge more money just because the movie was successful. Cap movie pf 350, shouldn't the hulk be similar with a slightly elevated cost due to supplies and man hours...
bought one koto statue, the IM MIII. sold it for what i paid for it after displaying it. my disappointment was that it was light and not very sturdy or durable. but for under $200, it's another option for the marvel collector.
Koto seem to have cheap mid & highend pieces. I've like alot of there 1/6 higher end stuff, like there Spidey is
SS really need to make a Thanos PF. That's a huge want from me

I understand your predicament. I see it from the perspective of a consumer here in the US. I can buy a Bowen or Koto piece for half or a third of the price (some times) of a Premium Format. If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't either.
Been down that road before with the Cable website exclusive. Got my account closed out and money refunded and told to get my statues elsewhere. That's customer service for you...
After a three week wait and the three weeks after they took my money.
So F! him too!
