I like the look of that bar. It has an old fashioned yet inviting atmosphere. I can definitely see myself hanging out there and kicking back.

I used to live in an old English village up until about four years ago. The local Pub 'The Bucks Head' was a great traditional pub, a little like the one in your pic, but obviously genuine, it had evolved, was a bit tatty round the seams but was a great real 'TRADITIONAL' pub... then a new landlord came in and ripped it's guts out, stuck a tacky conservatory on it's arse and managed to make it look like a British 'theme pub'... cheezuz, I'd be angry at the landlord but for the fact the public invariably gets what it wants, and sadly deserves!

Yeah it's a nice place to drink very good beer and whiskey. It's called The Bishops Arms and we have over 40 of those here in Sweden. I'm a huge fan of beer, specially ale, so this place is perfect for me.

But then of course we like dining out when the weather is good.

Oh OK then he's exactly my height. I couldn't tell at first because of the slouching. He looks like someone I once knew except this guy had a beard and longer hair. Before I opened my business I use to be a truck driver from California and he was a trucker from Louisiana and during our routes we would always cross paths in the Southwest whether it was at a truck stop, a biker bar in the desert or an Indian casino. All the big guys were competitive towards one other, it was like the movie Over The Top but in real life. Those were some good times back then.

I went to put this movie in last night while going to bed and have something to sleep to during the night as background noise and my grl realizes what the movie is at the start of it and gives me one these looks

That's true. Some of the shorter stockier guys are some of the strongest and most dangerous SOB's you could ever meet. They are like Wolverines, Badgers and Tasmanian Devils all rolled into one. Not only that but many of the short stocky guys have more knockout power vs a larger man with longer arms.
