I was just thinking how cool it would be if he made a 1:1 Dilophosaurus. :lol Great minds think alike. :D

Doesn't that baby Velociraptor look a little big? It still looks really cool regardless.

If he does a 1:1 Tyrannosaurus, that will kick so much ass. :horror I don't think it would fit in my room, though. :(

Hey, that is quite a creation, Blade. Did I catch a glimpse of it in earlier photographs, perhaps?

Yeah you may have, it's really nice..looks like the prop ones I've seen at least..though much more better.. lol

Heck ya ! I'll def have to suggest it to him next time. Josh mentioned doing the same awhile back, but Galileo's work runs circles around his stuff. ;D

It's the film size I'm pretty sure..I've seen casts of the orig prop and it looked the same at least.

If he dis a 1/1 Rex I'd have to sell a car.. lol

Some better shots of that Sucho :

Thanks Blade. Now I can look at all of his gorgeous works.:horror Sometimes it seems that his bases outshine the actual Dinosaurs. :lol

It seems he did a Faux Bronze buildup of Shane's 1:1 Stegosaurus. It looks alright I guess. ;)

True, a good base compliments but doesn't take away from the subject.

Eh, not bad..Shane tried to get me to go for bronze finishes when I was talking to him, said they were only half the price of a regular paint job..but I don't know..I just can't really get behind bronzes for some reason.

Yeah, i've never been into the bronze pieces. I might be pursuaded to get David Krentz's bronze Tyrannosaurus maquette, if I can't find the regular kit for sale. ;)

The Judith piece ? Or his " Rex Mundi " ?

That pic is priceless. I don't think i'd want to happen upon a raptor on a caffeine high. :lol

I was speaking of his "Rex Mundi" piece. I've loved that piece ever since I saw it, but the regular kit has been sold out since I first visited his site. :( I've actually only ever seen that piece in its bronze format, and that's why I like it in that format. Do you know where I could see pics of a painted kit? I haven't been able to find any.

Honestly I've only ever seen a bronze version myself. Maybe David was going to offer it a a kit and just never did. If I can get ahold of him I'll ask...I always thought it would be a great companion piece to his SS Rex. I wonder if that pose is really possible ? I have his "Judith " piece and I also wonder if a therapod would run like that with the leg so high..but she still looks sweet.

I've been tempted to get his " Buffalo Bull " piece as well...I love the pose and all.

Well, if it's only available in bronze, then I guess i'll get that one. It shouldn't take me more than three years to make all the payments. :lol

His "Buffalo Bill" piece is my second favorite of his 1/18 pieces.

Congrats on owning his "Judith" piece. Like you said, I don't know if that pose would have been possible, but she's still a beautiful piece. Her little ones are great aswell.

I considered picking up the juveniles..but it sort of overwhelmed the feel of the piece..made it too busy...and I don't think mom would run flat out like that around her infants. She could prob only do a slow trot without out distancing them quickly.

I can't even consider owning the Rex in bronze..lol that's a good chunk of change...whew !

The Krentz Einiosaurus is one of my favorites.

On a related note, you'll never guess who contacted me yesterday about selling some items in my shop. :horror

In the words of Wall-E....'Whoa'

Well, I knew he was selling those, as they are on his website. ;)

I thought he meant someone else.

Dan, do you plan on selling anything from his 1/18 line?

Well...who else were we talking about..Galileo ? Martin Garrett ? I did ask Galileo about finding a U.S. distributor to improve sales and suggested Dan awhile back. Who knows..Dan is ever the tease.. lol

In the words of Wall-E....'Whoa'

No truer words.. ;)

If those Deinonychus were local, looked that good in person, and were 1250.00 USD... I would plunk down the cash on the barrel head ASAP. ;D

In the past, Dan has mentioned wanting to distribute paleoart by different artists. He mentioned that some didn't want to go the route of having someone else selling their stuff, so that's why I wondered if it was someone else.

I'm really glad that he's able to get permission to distribute work from so many talented artists. In my opinion, it's that trust that they place in his ability as a proper salesman, that puts his shop above other online "paleoshops". Not to mention he has a love for the products he sells. Some people have no clue, what it is they're selling. :lol
