Thanks. I'd like to pre-order this, so I don't spend my money on other things like food, gas, etc. :lol

I can't wait to see final pics of this thing. I'm trying to think if there are any customizations i'd like done, base wise.

Yeah, you did post the dimensions.

Cool, couldn't recall.

I would just look at art showing Psittacosaurs in their habitat and see if anything leaps at you.

Looks like terrain is mostly sandy, some tree leaves, branches, roots..things like that.

Shane did say pre-ordering would help him out too.

I really like that second pic. Maybe i'll get Shane to litter the base with hatchlings. :lol

I plan on pre-ordering this bad boy when I get the funds together. Hopefully I can help out by doing so. :D

lol..I'm sure he'd love that.. ;D If you did want to do that and be accurate as possible this one is a sub-adult so prob not breeding age so hatchlings wouldn't be found near it I bet...same way you wouldn't have a kid watch the baby.. heh heh

This piece looks to be on all fours..how about a pool of water ?

Man, that is weird. I just thought of the same thing, having it drinking from a pool of water. The image of one of Martin Garrett's pieces came to mind, where the Dinosaur has some dribble falling into a puddle of water. I'm wondering if Shane can pull that off? I'll have to run it by him and see what he thinks. :)

It's a taxidermy art I think..so he can prob do it.. I'd ask at least. Talk about uber cool ! ;D

I was thinking..do you do Facebook ? We should all get on there and routinely bug Sideshow about Dinosauria..say once a week ? heh heh

Yeah, i'm on Facebook. I don't know about bugging Sideshow. Wouldn't want to anger the gods, as they might decide to get really sloppy on the paint apps. Even more so than usual. :lol

Just added you as a friend. I usually don't post very often, except when I have a new video or pic I want to post. :D I also prefer to chat with people on there instead of on here. Now worries of having to delete past messages. :lol

In general I don't chat at all...but it seems to work well on FB so feel free to hit me up if you want...not that we don't cover about everything here.. heh heh

I just friend requested Galileo, so hopefully he accepts it. You do get a free kit if he accepts your friend request, right? :lol

I wish more paleoartists were on Facebook. It'd make contacting them a little easier. I guess some are way too busy to bother with it.:dunno

Everyone's busy of course, but I've met many interesting people through FB. Steve Riojas, Jorge Blanco, James Kirkland... Facebook is an ingenious tool, I have to admit. If I wasn't so muleheaded, I might have tried it sooner.

It took our business forever to get one..or so said the customers. We finally gave in since I had a teenager to show me the ropes of it..lol

I wish he gave a free kit with friend acceptance.. ;D

Galileo posted some new pics of his 1/35 Rex dio

So this dio will have 4 Dinos in it...man he's got guts...lol I hope he does a base for it as well. Those juvenile T-Rexes look great !

Yeah, I was looking at those, as I skimmed through his other pics. I'd like to see that dio in 1:8 scale. ;)

He's lucky to be in the position of making one of his kits, just to take out and photograph. Not as many worries if it gets messed up. :lol

Depends...here is his site again : www.geenemodels.com

I find them to be pretty reasonable.

His kits seem to be priced about the same as most others i've seen. So like you said, it's a very reasonable deal.

Have you thought about getting the Allosaurus vs Barosaurus diorama? ;) Looks like you'd need a good deal of vertical space. :lol
