the problem with IMDB is that is full of trolls. People trying to out troll each other. And for some reason people have to reply...

Sometimes it gets so bad, that the mods end up deleting every thread made on some of the boards.

Same with youtube. If I was putting up toy reviews there I would disable comments to spare myself the expletive-ridden hate comments that would follow if I said something incorrect or they didn't like my voice or I slagged off their favorite figure.

My nephews got a YT account, only on the condition of having comments disabled so people don't bully the **** out of him.
