It has nothing to do with favorite dollies, and if people who aren't trolling feel intimidated, they should grow a pair. However, I hadn't noticed anyone holding their tongue.

The only reason you hear any kind of backlash against negativity is because some people have had enough of the histrionics, nit*****ing, etc. Actually, they had enough five years ago. Ask any of the Star Wars fans in Flosi's Cantina why they post there but rarely anywhere else.

That sucks then. I'm only a casual SW fan, so it's not my haunt. I can see how it'd wear thin if that was the MO. I suppose I've come in at the tail end and inferred an intolerance for dissent rather than a malaise for monotonous trolling.

Unfortunately the general malaise spills over to encompass and target just about anyone in any thread who innocently says that something isn't 100% perfect. I find it annoying seeing people I know to be quite moderate or indeed myself not being distinguished from the so called 'haters', a term which by the way I hate.

I reserve 'hater' for people whose posts consist of pure emotional content, written purely to express their negativity, and not to articulate criticism.

That sounds fair enough. If chaps like you or Lejuan saw fit to tell me I was being excessive or bordering on 'hater' status I would actually take it under consideration. You sound like you speak from a more logical standpoint. I resent if I'm called a 'hater' by someone whose the other extreme - the fanboy *shudders*

to see what the freaks here think of this as i have noticed a line when it comes to movies of lately as it divides a lot of us----
you liked a movie and someone else does not and now we hate each other---i mean we all can not like the same flavor of ice cream-----you like rocky road and i like coffee so what-----
does that mean i am smarter just because i like a certain movie or ice cream for that matter-----
WHY DOES IT HAVE TO ALWAYS BE A DUALITY........

I do not share your ideas but I will give my life so that you can freely express forever..

I have my rational moments. You seem to be more consistent. I don't think I've ever heard you go off on anyone.

I hate that I haven't bought a toy in months. I'm feeling sad.

Hot Toys is overpriced. The Neca figures are hard to find, and all the summer movie toys are nothing but overpriced cake toppers.

I used to hit Walmart or Toys R Us regularly between Sideshow figures, but I haven't bought anything like that in years.

I miss the early 2000's when there was always something cool on the pegs.

I miss the star wars peg aisle being huge... Man... Sad to see only like 2 rows and 4 pegs.

2003-2006 were the absolute best times for me. Tons of Alien and Predator stuff, not to mention some great horror collectibles and Star Wars figures.

The beginning of Star Wars Unleashed was where I started. I remember getting Han Solo one day at TRU and my friend got an amazing generic Captain Nemo set. McFarlane level detail, tons of accessories, diorama base. Things like that don't turn up anymore.

Unleashed. I remember those. I just wanted the Boba Fett, but that was impossible to find. I only got one when they re-released it years later. Those things were really, really cool.

And I remember that Nemo toy. I think it was Mezco that made them. I miss those days. :(

I think it was the first one, but I can't tell because they don't like it when you steal their ****. :lol

I loved the Unleashed line. First real Star Wars collecting I did when I started getting serious. Paid stupid money for a few of them, but I had no regrets. I'm still a fan, but I gave Han, Luke and Chewie to my nephew. Gave my niece Slave Leia. I kept ESB Vader and the prequel jedi/sith (if the movies had lived up to those figures, they'd be legendary right now).

Why should you? They were probably some of the best things Hasbro ever did.

I wanted to get into them more, but I was more interested in the figures. I got that Grevious though, but I repainted him because he was a little ****y.

Never got that Vader. His pose was really, really silly. (Pic I made back in the good old days)

Looks like he's tripping down the ****ing stairs. Haha.

I wanted this set. But I ended up waiting too long, and they became hard to find. Now, not so much. But it's still a really cool piece.
