This thread was Hijacked initially with any talk of horizon. By “we” you mean specially horizon fans?? Again on an uncharted thread, that news isn’t gonna mean the same to everyone.

I was specifically asking about how development on the female body was going, and mentioned that it was last brought up years ago in the Aloy thread. I wanted to know because I've been campaigning for years for Chloe Frazier figure, as unlikely as that may be. Chloe is, of course, from Uncharted.

R_R_X kindly responded that Lim wasn't working on their female body in regards to Aloy, that they had only done a female body for Ellie, which isn't an adult body, but they were working with Master Team on Aloy, which will need a female body.

Given the lack of updates from Lim the last few years, I actually quite enjoyed hearing a tidbit about what else is coming and just decided to discuss it a bit. But since everyone wants to get wrapped up in nonsense like this, rather than just move on from something they're not interested in, I'm sure it'll be nice to go back to radio silence about what's in the pipeline from Lim.

Talking about Horizon has led to nothing productive, so let's get the thread back on track.

The Nate box is looking good, it's the last step of the process, I would assume Nate will release in a few weeks, with John and the Arthur sculpt likely right after it. Which means Lim can work on other projects.

If they were to do more Uncharted, is Sully a figure people would want as a companion piece?

The lack of female body means we can't have Elena and Chloe - but once the body is ready, would people want Elena and Chloe?

Would people want a villain like Rafe?

Let's talk Uncharted wants and needs as we wait for Nate.

When it comes to UC4 I would buy them all, honestly, but if I were to rank 'em:

1. Elena
2. Sully
3. Chloe (technically only in the DLC, but I don't care)
4. Sam
5. Nadine
6. Rafe

Chloe is a top three most wanted figure for me regardless of franchise - but I realize Sully and Elena need to be the companion pieces for Nate. Just makes the most sense as they were in all four games with Nate and have been with him through his entire journey.

Yeah, you could argue that Sam is the most fitting piece for UC4 specifically, but it was really Nate & Elena's story -- and though Sully had a smaller part in the last game, he's obviously the #1 sidekick overall.

Elena is my most wanted. I think most here want as many uncharted figures as possible.

What versions of each character do people want??

I think I want home Elena in the red shirt for the long sleeves more than the main island version. That way they can do the arms same as Nate and have no joints

From what I read, Sully’s role was supposed to be a lot bigger when it was originally pitched that Sam would be a villain next to Rafe. Then Henning left Naughty Dog and Druckmann started working on U4 and reworking a ton of story. Sam was no longer a bad guy, Nadine became the bad guy, and Sully’s role got decreased. Which is a shame because Richard was getting ready to retire at that point and got shafted out of one of his last big roles.

That is a shame, but I think the story was better served for it. I like where they landed with Sam's character in the end. And the implication that he and Sully continued adventuring after Nate hung up the holster was fun.

I think for me it all depends on what Lim is able to achieve with the body. Realistically is Lim able to achieve a seamless looking body? The arms on the island figure would bother me and I rarely see them done well.

Maybe fully sculpted arms would be an option, would limit posing but would people want to go crazy with posing??

However I know Lim would absolutely nail the home outfit body doing the hands similar to Nate’s hiding all the joints.

Maybe both looks one fully seamless arm and one jointed arm with seamless wrists that are interchangeable.

LIM has really pushed the limits and innovated on their male figures… I wanna see them being the same level on innovation to the female figures.

I'd definitely get Sully. But I'd prefer a basic release for him. Keep it simple: quality figure, of course, but without a lot of extras to keep the cost down. Same with Elena.

First of all - this started because someone asked if Horizon was more popular than Tomb Raider. When I pointed out that it's the best selling PS4 game, everyone started talking about how it's not as good as everyone makes it out to be, which is just nonsense. I'm not taking it personally. I just find it ridiculous that people here are so quick to **** on things. Horizon is a flagship franchise for PlayStation. A few people here nitpicking things because they can't enjoy things anymore as they get older doesn't change that.

Feel free to go talk about how terrible Resident Evil is in the Resident Evil thread. I'm here because I enjoy Uncharted, Red Dead, Horizon, etc. We got good news and people decided to hijack that for no good reason, so here we are.

Clearly you like horizon and can’t handle when people dont share the opinion

And horizon not having a large fanbase is a fact if you just look at the numbers of engagement and merch sales. That doesn’t mean there isn’t enough of a fanbase for a figure, nobody implied that anywhere.

And why do we have to walk on eggshells just because RRX is here? Why do you act like every little thing we say is gonna somehow set him off? Im sure he doesnt give a flying **** about what a few uncharted fans think of horizon.

I would agree. We're spoiled for accessories with Nate -- for which I'm thrilled! -- but any further figures in the line can be more basic as a result. Give me a signature weapon (or two), Sully's cigar, and I'm happy.

That’s why I feel like Sully would be such a slam dunk. Nate sold really well, Sully is a natural companion piece. He needs a pistol, a cigar, a radio/walkie talkie and maybe something like a map or a few pieces of treasure. Not a ton needed to go with his pants and shirt. Would imagine he’d be among the easier figures they’d ever do.

Exactly.
All of the extras with Nate are awesome but companion figures should be kept simple. I'm sure that would also increase sales numbers since not everyone would want to spent a premium price for a companion piece.
