I applaud LIM for the work they've done and the extra mile in trying to remain faithful to not just one game but two with just 1 figure. I think the likeness on the head sculpts is pretty darn close or spot on but also highlights the game art design aspects of upgrading tech and engines to a prequel being told etc, which as a result the 2 sculpts look almost like 2 different people especially if you've never played the games. lol

I can say personally the RDR1 sculpt likely is never getting used by me personally as I prefer the RDR2 design but I appreciate the added sculpt.

I'm not sure what LIM's expectations were for preorders or reception or the data they have. John was mostly a supporting role in RDR2 with Arthur being the main and for a lot of people RDR2 was their first entry into the series thus I imagine that contributed to the figures success.

Although it's worth pointing out LIM also announced and put up preorders for AM a mere 7 months after RDR2 launched and the years following to release only garnered more attention and enthusiasm for the figure.

Dutch is all I want after and then if the line ends then so be it, at least the core characters will be released. Though I'll likely be 45 by the time Dutch arrives 😆

I love the accessory pack ideas too… wonder if we could get loose headsculpts of characters that wouldn’t get full releases. Just heads and the bare minimum of the character specific items you would need to build your own.

I know he’s a monster, but I do really want a Micah.

And every other gangmember. Lol.

Javier with his guitar.

Abigail and Jack 2-pack.

Mr. Pearson with carrotty chop action.

There were talks of accessory packs back before when AM was announced but nothing ever came of it. Considering what Arthur came with and John's along with Dutch being possibly light I imagine what we have and are getting is it.

Can't wait to order two of these, along with the new Arthur head sculpt. It all looks great to me. Love the denim vest and squirrel. Head sculpts are amazing too!

Edit: I'm glad that Lim decided to go with the epilogue look since I prefer John's overall appearance in RDR2 over RDR1.

Charles is my top pick

Heck yeah. He’s got two hairstyle options too. If you had to choose between the long hair and the braided hairstyle, which would you choose?

I think I like the braid more but would be happy if they found a way to do both.

Even though the likelihood of Lim doing more RDR after John seems to have gone down, it’s still fun to dream.

Long hair for me forsure

* Pants and sculpt as well as other details will be fixed in the final product.*

This once infamous outlaw finds peace when he becomes a rancher and family man but once that peace gets threatened by old foes he must pick up his weapons once again and become the man he used to be!

We're excited to announce the next 1/6 scale figure from our "Outlaws From The West" line:

- The Cowboy

Replicate several looks from the most important periods of the Cowboy's life with two highly detailed young and old head sculpts and the several iconic pieces of clothing provided, from the days of riding in a gang to the time when he must do whatever it takes to provide for and later save his family.

Not all is guns and death though, with several accessories such as a can of strawberries, a good plate of stew and the fishing rod you can display this cowboy in more peaceful activities.

The figure will be available for pre-order soon but in the meantime check out the promotional pictures and let us know what you think!

I only have 3 words to describe what I see: amazing and preordered. PLEASE keep up the good work and don't get discouraged: I know many of us are already waiting for your Dutch!

Waiting for Giantoy

It's not going to be a regular listing there.

As per their Facebook group:

Hey guys! We will have both. As for the LIMTOYS figures, we'll make a member-only listing. I'll update here soon on how to order.

Not sure whether she means members of the group or of the website. Some listings only appear on the site if you're logged in.

They're up on Giantoy.

John, Sickly Arthur, Re-issue Arthur and Mid-Beard Arthur are all there.

You just have to sign into your account to see them.

I've never played the games so I don't know what's technically "right or wrong" in terms of accuracy; all I know is when I looked at all the official pics for the first time just now, I'm completely blown away personally. My first thought was "wow these guys can compete with HT" and now more than ever am I looking forward to the "Unmarked Thievery" figure. So, as someone who knows nothing about this game other that what the characters sorta look, I say amazing job @R_R_X and the LimToys team :clap

Can't wait for this! Limtoys Arthur is one of my favorite figures I have. And I love John's RDR1 headsculpt. The outfit options are cool too. I'll definitely be going with his RDR1/RDR2 Epilogue look. I wish he would have started wearing that in RDR2 when he was still hanging around Arthur. But I'll still be fine with him standing next to Arthur in that outfit. I might make a custom Micah severed head for them to kick around. Man I hated that guy more than any video game character ever!

A true 1/6 scale diorama for $120, I think it was? It was an absolute steal, even in that era. We made 200, I think, and we probbably only sold 100 of them. Nobody was singing its praise. Maybe it was too big, maybe there weren't any cowboy figures to display with it? Who knows?
I'm so jealous of those 100 who got one. If I was into collecting at the time I know I would have picked one up. I don't really want to settle for the $250 modular diorama from Kaustic or whoever, might try 3d printing my own...:unsure::unsure:

I had one of those saloon door dioramas; it arrived broken. Sent it back for a replacement and was blocked for my efforts. Triad had crap customer service.

Sorry to hear that, as the person who was customer service, I handled a few of those replacements. Your experience must've been after my time at the company. I started opening up each one, before we shipped out those orders, and adding extra packing material before to prevent damage.

Yeah, it was pretty much near the end of Triad. I was so stoked to get it and was really bummed it arrived broken the way it was (right at one of the hinges and a big piece of the lower corner). At least I got the money back.
