Do you know where I can pre order this figure? I've been trying to find it on kit but it isn't there anymore
Follow this thread closely - after release Kit will likely have extras. He did for Arthur and Nate. And even if he doesn't, there's mostly likely going to be a second run. Arthur is on run #4 and Nate is going to have a second batch later this year, so you'll still have chances.

It does look like you can still pre-order at EKIA, although I've never ordered from them and can't vouch personally for them. Maybe someone else can. Seems to be sold out at all the other reputable places (Giantoy, Monkey Depot, Timewalker, One Sixth Outfitters, KG Hobby).

R_R_X had stated John would be the next figure out the door for Lim and would release after Chinese New Year, which we're past now. I believe everything was done but some adjustments to the clothes. So, keep an eye out. Might not be much longer until there's news.

The "M1899 Pistol", inspired by the design of the FN Model 1899 and 1900.

It's a shame the game model wasn't closer to real world.

The double edged sword of a game inspiring 1/6 figures you wouldn't otherwise see, but also ensuring that the weapon isn't accurate enough to fully display, but likely close enough if holstered or gripped.

Unfortunately it's an issue that's going to arise again in another set, but with a weapon that's so dramatically different from it's real world inspiration that I don't know whether I'll display it at all.

He looks insane! Now idk which looks better Nate or John :monkey4 I’d say both of them are equally great:monkey4:monkey3:love

Nate was ready to go straight from the box.

Since John was first shown I've been planning how to rescue him. The trousers have been improved so that's one issue resolved. The bad boy biker denim vest is too modern a design to use and I didn't like the coat, though that may change in hand.

The Winchester, as shown in the promo photos, didn't conform to any historical example I could find. It's closest real world counterpart is Denix's erroneous replica 1866 carbine, which was based on the 'Yellowboy' but without the 'brass' that gave the Yellowboy it's name.

Nevertheless there's enough parts to make a figure, with enough spares to complete two others.

I still have issue with the base. Hopefully the lizard can be unplugged and the hole covered with sand, because it feels like there's too much timid wildlife right at John's feet. It makes me think of a scene out of Bambi. :monkey3
