Either way, it worked out. The options were/are available for those wanted them. Hot Toys would've charged more anyway in this day and age.

I feel dofp wolverine was another story where they used the future look alone. They could have made a second version with his past look. BUT one to them was enough like every other film. The wolverine had two outfits cause they were easier to swap out. Could be the same with this version. But if we only get the one look (limo driver) then the stealth set is enough to change in between.

Precisely. Based on previous releases, the stealth set's quality will be perfectly fine and comparable to HT.

I remember working on a custom funeral scene Logan from "The Wolverine" right before HT announced their version. Go figure.

If HT goes all out, gives us a DX quality set like that, it's going to be the limo driver suit and then the final battle tank and jeans.

But I just can't see them putting that much R&D into this in that regard, considering there was a big missed opportunity to do that with the DOFP Wolvie too.

HT is very uneven. Sometimes they do something awesome like the Batman Returns 2-pack or the Robocop 2-pack. Other times they just drop the ball completely: cancelling the First Class Xavier, skipping Ronan from GOTG, not providing a Driver sculpt with the 1/6 Kylo and above all - doing absolutely nothing with the X-Men license aside from Wolvie.

I would say that it is a licensing issue of some sort that has prevented HT from doing any other figures from the X-Men movies. I mean, there are so many cool characters in those movies that there has to be some type of serious issue that has prevented them from making any other characters besides Wolverine.

The issue is they don't wanna pay for the likeness rights to the individual actors. They could if they wanted to but choose not to. Its stupid.

Man I can't decide anymore. So many head sculpts. :thud:

Putting aside specific facial likeness details, looking at each head sculpt and how the color tones/hair styles match how Logan looked in various scenes in the film, I'd say the Kumik head looks good for the limo driver look with the unkempt hair and wavy beard, to the point that it almost seems inspired by the illustration poster for the film. On the other hand, the hair styling on the Burning Soul head looks to be better fit for the hotel/farm sequences where Logan's hair was less wavy and more pushed/combed up. And just for completion's sake, the shaved Burning Soul sculpt for the final battle look (obviously).

I think that's how I'll go about it when bashing my figures.
I wonder if anyone will do X-24 at some point. :lol

Hey guys found the perfect pair of black jeans for logan's limo driver look. The Redman rick grimes set pants. It's at monkey depot for $9.99 I got a pair. Thought I share this info good luck.

Looks more like a bearded Patrick Bergin than Hugh Jackman.

I don't know. I mean sure it's not perfect, but I'd give it a little more credit than that.

That said, I think the hair/beard on the BS head still has finer sculpting. Will definitely keep an eye out for that Eleven sculpt too.

the kumik just looks like an animated version.

So far the only one that is good is the xenoviper even though he's a bit too groomed.

The unfinished one shows potential

And that's not a bad thing (he's probably going to be exposed alone anyway).

What i like the most in this hobby is collecting good sculpts, so I bought this one and will probably get Eleven's. Two different styles. I'll have five different Wolverine head and i like all of them.

I'm not the kind of collector that gets a nosebleed when a headsculpt doesn't match a movie-specific clothing. I have two Wolverine figures and switch heads from time to time just for fun.

Some people here just share way more than what is needed....lmao

Didn't want to judge anyone in particular lol.

It's just that i see alot of people saying "If X head isn't on X body type with X clothing, it's stupid". I mean, they're toys, they're meant to be posed, played, tweaked. No?
