I'd seen that poster. OML #1 predates it by one year and is literally what this movie is based on.

Not even the style or colors on the Mondo poster resemble this.

Well the context is different. The comic looks like he is standing off against someone while the movie he is fleeing. lol wolverine fleeing from someone.
