Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

Yea, well Danny DiVeto doesn't have muscles. And he's the only go to short guy in the biz...other than Tom Hardy.

Well he doesn't need to be a pygmy, but just in the 5ft range. It would need to be an unknown IMO to replace him.

What about Tom Cruise, he's around 4'5" isn't he? :lol

With lifts maybe.

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

I don't really care about how tall the character is at this point. What really bothers me is that Wolverine never was a pretty boy.

They couldn't even get his character right throughout the film series.
Heck, only in the first film Jackman's character had some inner journey.

RIDDICK like's his Wolverine hairy.
After seeing hairless bear I don't wanna imagin' hairless wolverine...

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

I'm so used to Jackman I might not even like the Wolverine from the comics that you guys want.

LOL

I just know comic wolverine is a short guy.

Jackman all day long.
Height is a minor issue to me, though ideally, sure, we would have a shorter guy. Biggest issue for me is more behavior and personality. He isn't as raw, self-serving, unpredictable, and legitimately dangerous as the comic version. They hint at it from time to time, but it feels artificial. Or at least, the comic version from the '70s and '80s. Deep down, he is a noble character, but people should get anxious whenever he enters the room.

Don't forget Oscar Isaac, the guy playing Apocalypse :D

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

He was hairy back then. :lol

He was through all the movies, he only had chest hair. As weird as it sounds, I do want him hairier :lol

He was always beastly looking in the comics, and he needs shoulder hair.

It's got muttonchops and it's short, maybe it should be cast.

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

Oh man.. :lol

Yeah, Jackman could've been hairier.. not really a deal breaker though considering he's also pretty & tall. :lol

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

I really, really want a comic accurate retelling of Weapon X. Not just the injection of Adamantium and he immediately escapes crap.

Love that guy's artwork. I remember having the Toy Biz figure of that as a kid.

Really there is so much they could do with Wolverine.

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

I've grown to really enjoy Jackman as Wolverine an end of an era. That said, I'll be curious to see the next incarnation of the character. Until then W3 :yess:
