Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

I agree that this is part of it, but we can't always blame the writers and directors for characters that aren't portrayed well. Jackman has say into what goes into this character and what doesnt. I want someone else who will hopefully come in and make this character more fitting to the comic.

Regardless of how we all feel about him. Fox is going to try to mold another Jackman Wolverine with the next actor.

Yup. I can find something to enjoy in even the worst of them. But I'm always impressed when I revisit X1 with how well they introduced him.

I also love the Origins video game for its bat**** craziness.

Origins was fantastic. Way better than the film.

Insanely violent with excellent gameplay. Probably the best film to game ever done, next to Spiderman 2.

The battle-damage mechanic is brilliant, as you see Logan slowly go from normal person to a walking bag of meat and bones. It's gory, fun and insane. Plus, there are comic-book costumes that you can unlock, which make the game soooo much better. Honestly,it's one of my favourite Hack n' Slash games out there.

Seeing his skeleton underneath was an excellent gimmick they added in.

Hmm.. there you go.

I didn't know that the 'Spider-man 2' game was good either, because I'm still playing catch up really.

SM2 perfected the web-slinging formula, so that's the gold standard of Spider-Man games.

Truth. It made the game quite unique, as I don't remember seeing any other title allowing such visible damage to be inflicted to the protagonist. Plus, watching the skin regrow was the bess knees.

I used to get him damaged so bad (on purpose) to where you could see a good portion of his skull. It would be nice to get another go at a new game from them.

SM2 was the only one done that actually had weight to the swing you and you weren't swinging from nothing...

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

Is that 'Origins' game really that good?
The fact that it's Jackman's Logan (all the voice acting done by him) who kills tons of people in a very gory fashion and fights mutants, monsters, robots and a ****in' sentinel is enough reason to play the game. Not really good overall but incredibly entertaining if you're a fan of Wolverine.

I know right? Sadly, Marvel is only interested in mobile-games now. Which, considering even I dropped 60 euros on Future Fight (and I'm really careful about such stuff), are proving to be a success. I stopped playing, because, honestly, once you start wasting money, you'll never stop. Worst thing is, Marvel partnered with Telltale and we still haven't heard a single thing. Meanwhile, DC announced a TT Batman game outta the blue. SMH...

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

Marvel Heroes is the worst offender. :lol

Thing with MH is that you at least get the illussion of a real game. Future Fight has 2 minute stages that are basically the same over and over again. And just one costume costs about 10 euros. If you want to level up a character and rank him up, especially the hard ones, you're gonna need hundreds of dollars/ euros/ whatever. It tricks you because it looks cute and all, but it's a dangerous game for sure...

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

To bad we don't get good marvel games anymore. This game was like the perfect tie in movie game. Gta was big at the time so putting spiderman in an open world New York was a great idea.

Re: WOLVERINE (March 3rd 2017)

I just don't get the whole 'pay for content' thing.

Maybe I'm old fashioned - or not that devoted a gamer, but I just don't see the point or value in it.

At all.
