wait jye doesn't like deadpool? but all the lolz jye!

:lol to be fair it's a one and done if you don't do repeat viewings of comedies.

Well,

while it "might" be the case that the XM franchise has overall better drama than the MCU group of movies it is only slightly better in that department where as the action in the MCU blows away the XM franchise.

These are superhero movies where I want to see them doing super stuff while looking good doing it and not Wolverine doing the same fight moves for 16 years, Magneto floating in one spot and Rogue walking around sad.

I certainly don't dislike the XM movies...well not true I do XMO and Deadpool.

I even thought XMA was ok.

The MCU has raised the bar with superheroes doing superheroes stuff, sorry if that's upsetting to you X-Men groupies lol.

Power Rangers is just a mild fascination because I love Godzilla. :lol

This is a different Jye, name calling and movie bashing? Where's the old passive Jye that wouldn't hurt a fly? :lol

The good X-Men movies have way better drama, and much better action than most of the MCU movies, I can't see how you can argue that. I know you love Cap movies and the Avengers movies for their action, but what other movies in the MCU have top notch action? Thor movies? Iron Man movies? Guardians? Ant-Man? Surely you don't think those movies have better action that X2, FC, and DOFP do you?

Wolverine's first appearance in the X1 cage fight, the kitchen stab in X2 (rest of that sequence is forgettable), Nightcrawler's White House attack, Quicksilver's scene in DOFP. All very iconic in my mind.

I loved the QS scene in DOFP, much more so than the forced repeat in Apoc.

:lol :lol

I wasn't even speaking purely on iconic though, because again, how many iconic action scenes does First Avenger, Iron Man 1-3, Guardians, Thor 1 and 2 and Ant-Man have?

I can't think of one iconic action scene in any of those movies.

Also, action isn't just visuals for me, I actually like Magneto's prison escape in X2 more than in DOFP because of the context surrounding that scene. Mystique seduces the guard, puts the iron in his body, Mags senses it and rips that Iron out of his body killing him, and with that tiny bit of iron, literally kills everyone and floats out of the plastic prison like a boss. It's a very cool and original way of displaying power. MCU doesn't have things like that.

If we're talking purely visuals and super-heroic battles, then nothing tops Spider-Man 2's train fight. None of the Cap or Avenger films can touch that scene.

Jesus Christ, say something nice about X-Men and puturts still has to troll MCU. :lol

Most iconic Spider-Man scene was when Captain America shredded the weak webs that were grappling him and then knocked Spidey flying with a side kick that was too fast for both Peter's spider-sense AND "buglike reflexes" (whatever that's supposed to mean.)

I'll give you that one. It did feel repetitive and I didn't like where they took the character.

The script for XMA was just completely undercooked. They needed another year of polishing.
