Not to mention the general audience's "standards" are all over the place nowadays.


The usual MCU-isms have started bothering in my last viewings of TWS. These movies will not age well.

I caught myself rolling my eyes at the "I'm multitasking", "if they're shooting at you they're bad", I didn't use to do that with TWS.

I think you're right, Iron Man might be the most solid film of them all. The thing is, I'd have to watch the entire MCU one more time to make my mind, and I don't wanna.

Yea, Iron Man lacked most of the MCU-isms for the most part which is probably why I appreciate a lot more than the rest of the movies in the MCU.

I think you can just watch the ones you think are good, that's Iron Man, TWS, CW, GOTG, Ant-Man, and The Avengers right? Or am I missing some?

Actually I take what I said back. This gives me last of us vibes looking at the trailer again . If this movie can give us as much heart as that game can it can be oscar worthy . Jackman is a great actor.

I didn't get this particular vibe while watching the trailer but the dynamic of Wolverine, Xavier and the girl made me think of True Grit.

Just make sure you smile and shake your head yes when the X2 mansion scene is brought up as the pinnacle of superhero movie action and you'll do just fine here lol.

The world didn't go to ****, but something happened in the eighth years between the end of DOFP and this movie where

Wolverine may have killed the X-Men

(like in OML).

If they are adapting that key aspect of OML, his journey is quite brilliant:

he travels in time to save them only to kill them after.

Its a trail of tears for old man Logan.
