Looks like another seller with possible recasts here, these actually look just as good as the SS version. I suspect this is a recast cause in the auction, its not even mentioned its a SS piece, and in the pic, you can see, one of the pred doesnt have quills. BEWAREEEEEEEEE!!

It says right in the Item Specifics that it's a "reproduction"... but a repro of what? It seems highly unlikely that Sideshow has allowed them to reproduce one of their high end busts, in any case. The paint apps do look pretty professional... if these aren't legit, then we're probably looking at a major league scam artist here.

Yeah, and the price is still as high as what Sideshow was selling them for.. I just wish none of these were limited items or exclusives and that Sideshow was making them to order at the same price always.. I know collectors want to feel special having limited items, however this recast crap is getting out of hand. How can all of these molds be sold off in China so soon after a line finishes? Seems to be the only way to get one so accurate.

I reported him. You can see the two in the background are WIP busts. Also reported the Doom recast.

I read that too. Sounds like a pretty organized operation, or at least they wanna be. Somebody should bring this to Sideshow's attention, if they don't already know. This isn't some small time recaster here...

well with shipping, even this recast would be 1,200, so its not like its a bargain for him. You could still pull an authentic bust for 1,300-1,400 range for sure. A completely different story with the Aliens bust, but at least you can tell those are fake, these ones look like the SS one dead on.
