I think the website is what's confusing people. Hopefully they'll either update that, or clarify it better.

If that really is right I better order it fast... I can't see that it is though. Thats a heck of a price difference for only 3 less disks

Well next all the Movies will be re-released in 3D.

i don't know if they can do that without reshooting the whole movie, cause isn't the movie shot differently

I most likely will wait for the EE's, but I'm sure this will end up in the Summer Sales on Play.com. If it does, then I might bite.

same here if these end up going for cheap much later after release then i might pick them up.

no shat, i'll have to check that out also.

I knew that sign said 6 discs. :lol

LOL.....yes it did! But the steelbook only holds 6 discs.

On the steelbook website, they are calling this a stickerbook since the graphics won't be part of the metal, only stuck on like a sticker. Someone said it has a $50 SSC card with it too.

I also read that the futureshop release will be a real steelbook only holding 6 discs and the other three will be attached to the package.

hi! i jsut got the steelbook which is a plasticbook for 6 discs. no discs are included. it includes a $50 sideshow certificate and a $5 discount for the new aragorn's quest game.

if the blurays are a 9 disc set which will include the digital copies, then it wont fit in the disc slots in the steelbook as there are only 6 of them. no inside artwork either.

imo, they should advertise this as just a plastic jumbo case. and it is black, not blu.

These editions are a total money grab... Why buy something you'll likely regret once the extended editions come out?

Thanks for letting us know for sure. On the futureshop boards they said they don't make a steelbook case that can hold more than 6 discs.

Can you post a pic of it?

Anyway, I'm hoping they show a pic of what Canada will get soon. There's no listings at all for it yet.

$15 for the BR version??? Heck yeah. I'll get the EE too, but that has to be a price mistake, and I'm totally going to try and exploit it.

You aren't getting the movies, just the case. They did the same thing with Up and Snow White.

The $15 will go towards the discs as a pre-order.

How much is the PO? And is that the PO for the 6 disk or 9 disk set?

I take it the 9 disk set is the extended edition to come out later? and I'm also assuming this couldn't be put towards that purchase at some later time.

Sorry, I'm a little confused, haven't been following the news.

Online, the PO is $15 and it's for the 9 disc theatrical set. I think there's 2 discs each movie plus 3 digital copies.

If you're waiting for the EE, you'll want to cancel this.
