So I just finished rewatchign all of season 4. AWESOME !!!! Forgot how good the show was. I've been picking more and more things up.

Was thinking of what the plot might be for Season 5. Locke said that when they left the island, very bad things started to happen. In one of the previews, there is Locke alone asking where is everybody. I'm thinking that the natives revolt against Locke and they will be the ones whom the losties fight on the island this season. Seems to be lots of action and violence, the natives are the only ones I can see who are the perps doing it. (unless the island moves somewhere else where someone can reach it).

This is just a WAYOUT there theory. But the frozen thing that Ben turned to make the island move, it was underneath the machine that made the bunnies time-travel. What if, in moving the island, the island itself goes back or forwards in time and that's why nobody can find it. I know it's out there, but it would be interesting if it were true.

You mean the Island fluctuates in time so it's always in the same spot but you can never see it? I can see that theory as being possible.

well remember that they have the ability to actually teleport. polar bear in desert. ben teleported to syria??? or wherever?? sayeed teleported. and countless others you assumed would that would explain their whereabouts and timing.
so i guess there is a fine line between how you look at a time machine or teleportation device........one in the same????.......:dunno

does a time machine just change the time at the exact spot you are at , at the moment or physically move you to a spot & time of your choosing? i would think that is what a teleporter would be. geek question for the day.....:lol

i think they can basically go wherever they want via teleportation.

The fifth season will commence on January 21, 2009 with a three-hour premiere consisting of a clip-show and two back-to-back new episodes.

The remainder of the season will air on Wednesdays at 9:00PM Eastern/8:00PM Central.

According to Lindelof, the season "is about why [the people who have left the island] need to get back". Also, season five will feature significantly fewer flashbacks and flashforwards.

So I have a BIG problem with this picture. It shows Dan, Charolotte, and Miles on the island's side. Yet at the end of Season 4, Dan was on the little boat going from the freighter to the island, so he WAS NOT on the island when it moved. So I find it hard to believe that he can be with Juliet, Sawyer, Miles, and Charlotte if he wasn't on the island when it moved.

You mean wherever and whenever they want?

Yea, the ice cavern seemed to transport Ben in time and space, so I'm thinking that might have happened to the island (which is why Ben, etc can't find it)
