In celebration of LOST's final season and as a project of fan appreciation, 16 top designers and artists, who are also fans of the show, were commissioned to create artwork celebrating one of the series' most memorable, and unforgettable, "water cooler" moments. This ultimate "fan art" was then turned into labor intensive, hand-pulled screen prints, limited to an edition of just 300, with less than 200 available to the public through our websites. Each beautiful poster tells its own different story, allowing the fan to relive memorable and influential moments in an artistic manner, as the show's storied run comes to a close. Once this limited edition print has sold out, they will never be printed again. Celebrate the fandom, community and family created by one of televisions' greatest shows by hanging a little part of it's history, inspiration and influence on your wall.

They have been doing some viral marketing with people following clues to secret locations and events, where they release the URL to the next poster in the series and 200 copies are put up for sale. Some are still available, but the two I really liked sold out before I could order. The latest print was revealed this morning, and I managed to get one ordered before they ran out! Still sad to have missed Eric Tan's print, but this is a great version of Mr. Eko staring down the Smoke Monster with his Jesus Stick:

Yeah. I posted about it during Comic Con.

The posters are neat but don't really do it for me.

The Locke and Ecko posters are cool. I don't really have time to follow internet clues...I'd prefer they just make things available like the olden days. :lol

Anyone know what ever happened with the Bad Robot vinyl figure from a while ago? It was shown at some Con or another with details supposedly forthcoming but I never heard of it again.

They were released I'm pretty sure. You can find them on eBay.

I lied. Not one popped up. I was thinking of the Google Image search apparently. My Bad (robot)!

Oh yeah, I've been following the poster thing for the last few weeks. It's total luck to score one of those, they sell out so fast.

I remember at Comic-Con when that guy presented Damon and Carlton with that crazy felt polar bear picture, and everybody played it off like it was some kooky guy, but it was just another viral stunt for a viral marketing campaign.

Did you all hear that Lost is going on hiatus for 2 months during the Olympics?? Even though the Olympics are on NBC and Lost in on ABC??

Just as soon as it gets going, it's going to take a month break. Seriously, what is up with these network execs??

:banghead

Has there been any official word on that? I can't find anything about it anywhere except message board speculation.

According to executive producer Cartlon Cuse, ABC will air the first few episodes in January and then take a time out for the Winter Olympics. The Olympics aren't even airing on ABC, but Lost will still take a break and resume the season in early March.

I've also read message board chatter that ABC hasn't confirmed this, so I guess there's still hope.

First of all, the rumours, and they are rumours until something official is announced, that I have been hearing have all said 2 weeks. Whether or not production is shut down for a month I have no idea, but I've heard that it will result in LOST being off the AIR for no more than 2 weeks.

However....

The reason I'm still holding out hope that this is NOT true is because last winter games (06), the ratings were not great and LOST even BEAT the Games. Another reason is, LOST is ending. They don't have to convert new viewers. The ones that have watched will continue to do so, and I venture people that tuned in and tuned out over the years will tune in to see how it all ends. Hell, even people that didn't watch it will be inclined to tune in towards the end to see what the hell was "up with that island".

So, hope remains....

I hope it is true, because this is the final season of LOST ever. And to take a 2 week break will extend the final season that much longer and let us enjoy the coming episodes.

Enjoy the hiatus while it lasts to, enjoy the build up because it is the last.

:lol
I kind of agree. The hiatus will bring back memories of the good old days when LOST had a regular season with extremely frustrating reruns for a couple of weeks.
