Yes, Jack's behavior in last season's finale makes a little more sense now.

Not the most exciting episode this week... It wasn't like Jack was going to die. It was interesting that both Jack and Claire saw dear old dad.

Was Jack waiting for Charlie to appear when he was waiting outside Hurley's hospital? Is he beginning to think they're dead too?

Jack was probably waiting for SOMEBODY to appear. I thought it was going to be Juliet, with the whole jack/juliet/kate drama of the episode (they usually tie past and 'backs together) I wasn't expecting dear old dad. and DAMN that black chick had to walk in and interrupt jack and daddy talking. So I'm getting more and more convinced that jack's daddy is jacob or jacob's avatar/persona.

Where did Claire go? To follow daddy back to the cabin?

It's great that they brought Michael back to the show just so he could sit out the first two episodes after his return.

We've seen him before but I just couldn't place him. I believe he was one of the guys who welcomed Ben when he first arrived on the island.

That was one of the Dharma guys who initiated Ben's dad to the initiative; I think his name was Horace Goodspeed..

My guess is that Claire died in the house explosion but with the islands wacky powers, she (and everyone else) just don't know it. It takes her dead dad to come and reveal it to her.

Jack's dad has been confirmed dead by the producers.

I think Myles DOES know. Remember that he kept staring at her and even asked her if she would like for him to take care of the baby. It's like he knows that "she" doesn't know that she's dead. But he doesn't want to reveal his "gift" to anyone on the island.

but how would you explain sawyer walking and talking with claire and him telling myles to stay away from her ? or the fact the shes carrying aron, & we know aron is alive.
