Luke Is Shipping!!!

How many here didn't know about Sideshow until after the Exclusive Luke sold out? I ordered the regular edition on 11-14. My order status currently says 'Order Placed'. For those who have a Regular Verion on order, what does your status say?

Exact same thing... I ordered mine on 11/12/2005.

I got mine in the first three minutes and no notice as of yet. I think they go in reverse starting with orders from the waiting list. Regardless we will still get ours, I hope.

Thought i would just add myself to the list of poor saps still waiting for a shipping notice for his exclusive luke. its been a long coulple of days seeing all the pics anc happy customers. hopefully these next few days wont go so slow. hopefully mine will ship soon

Well, I was one of the first people to get him ordered. I was able to get my preorder in about 19 minutes. And I received my Luke yesterday. So that squashes that theory about getting the waitlisters first. I've heard of a few waitlisters and a few early orders, as well as some who came in very late getting their figure already... so..

I really don't know what order they are shipping these out in, and I doubt there is any method to the madness. They probably had a lot going on with the move and it made shipping screwy for this item. I would not worry though.. soon we will all have ours in hand.

I was finally able to check my Luke out a little bit ago since I was visiting my parents this weekend. Anyway, as someone who is new to 12" figure collecting I am shocked how much better Luke looks in person than the pictures I've seen scattered over the net. I'm not a Star Wars geek who knows every character and I'm not a customizer or expert on bodies. I'm a movie lover, Star Wars admirer, and casual collector. If all Star Wars figures in the 12" line have sculpts this great, clothing and accessories done with the utmost care and packaging second to none then it looks like I'm going to become something I never said I would; a completist.

My Luke is sure playing hard to get! After disappearing in Bakersfield a few days ago, with Fedex unable to locate him, he turned up last night in Bloomington, CA. He is going in the wrong direction!

Now it looks like it will be the end of the business day tomorrow before they realize that I don't live in or around Bloomington, and then they will reroute it for the third time (hopefully correctly this time) on Tuesday, and he just might hit Fresno and go out for delivery to me on Wednesday. (Crosses fingers.)

At this point, I'm beyond caring that he is late, and I'm just hoping that somehow the fine professionals at Fedex will manage to beat the odds and actually locate the address printed on the shipping label...

Well, after seeing my Luke in person, my brother has caved and wants one now. Are there any places (besides ebay) that have the regular version for sell still? Any help would be great.

Nope! Not LA--central valley near Fresno. So LA is the wrong direction!! He was an hour away from me when they misrouted him to Bakersfield. Now he is three hours away and misrouted back to LA. I called Fedex and they said that they can't do anything Monday but will get it rerouted Tuesday and he should arrive on Wednesday--a week after they shipped it. So now I know how it feels to live on the east coast! (But I still don't know what it's like to live in Europe...)

At this point, I'm just glad that they know where he is--which they didn't for a few days there. Here's hoping that my PF Obi-Wan does a little better when he gets shipped via Fedex this week.

Nope. Nothing has happened since they discovered him in L.A. Saturday night. I called Saturday and they told me that they would reroute him, but not until Tuesday, and that he would be delivered on Wednesday or Thursday. But at least they know where he is now...
