Finally! I just got my notice. Luke has left the building and I should have him by the end of the week.

Oh Tom, I don't know what to say.

I thought the airlines were bad -- they lose some 250,000 pieces of luggage every year, where they end up being sold in unclaimed items outlet stores!

I'm sure you have made all the necessary calls to the necessary people but this is purely a FEDEX thing. I think there are dark forces affecting the shipping of Luke but I truly believe his presence will be felt VERY SOON!

This thread is getting so long, that I here by call for a brand new thread to be started for the EU arrivals... Patients guys & girls (?).In a couple of weeks, it is our turn! Who ever gets his/her shipping notice first, starts the thread!

My main frustration with Fedex is that they are unresponsive. I may see that they have misdirected the package in the evening, and I will call them and tell them it's in the wrong town and to fix it before it goes out in the morning. However, they just say, "No, it's in the system and scheduled for delivery." I try to tell them that it can't be delivered because it's in the wrong town, but they tell me to wait. The next day, it goes out for delivery in the wrong town and disappears for a while until it turns up later back at a sorting facility. Instead of listening to me when I first discover their mistake and ask them to reroute it, they make me wait 24-48 hours while they discover that I was indeed telling the truth, and the package is in the wrong place. (Not to mention the fact that this has now happened three times, and still no package in sight.) If they would just take action the first time I point out the mistake it might get taken care of. Everybody makes mistakes, but when your mistakes are pointed out and you refuse to do anything to correct them...

I would ask for their Supervisor/Boss and let him/her have it! They know by know they have screwed up beyond comprehension and need to make it right.

And I would have them call me personally to indicate where the truck is and when it will arrive at your home and call again when it arrives!

Hey show73 and sebcanadaceo, I too have an EXCLUSIVE and REGULAR Luke on pre-order and nothing's changed in my account. No shipping notices, no FED-EX tracking numbers, no change in my account to say "Shipping Soon" or anything. It still just says "Order Placed"...like it's said since November! Hope they haven't forgot about us Canadians up here! I mean how long can it take to process and ship 1250 EXCLUSIVE edition figures? Some people have had their Luke's IN-HAND for well over a week, yet ours haven't even been charged yet! DAR!!! I know they moved last week, so that slows everything down a bit. I just want my CC to be charged since I've had the funds allocated to it for weeks...but with more recent charges to my CC (including interest charges) I'm seeing those allocated funds dwindling!!!

:duh

Hey tomandshell, I'm personally not a huge fan of FedEx. Last time I was there to pick something up (keep in mind, it's VERY inconvenient for me to get to where the facility is located), I waited in line for 15-20 minutes, and when I got up to the desk to pick up a parcel, they told me to take a seat because there was a 7:30 PM cut-off time for next day deliveries and they were only 'accepting' packages to be shipped at that time, they weren't allowing pick-ups. That pissed me off enough that I had to wait 15-20 minutes before finding that out. Then, after 7:30, a whole swarm of people showed up for pick-ups and nobody called on me to go first, which they should have since they made me sit and wait. When I brought it to somebody's attention, the woman that had me sit had 'conveniently' disappeared to the back area, never to return. The people working up front said they hadn't noticed the woman ask me to wait and said I'd have to go to the back of the line and wait my turn like everyone else. It took another 10-15 minutes to get back up to the desk. When I asked to speak to a manager, they said there was no manager on duty at night and I'd have to call their 1-800 number the next day, which I did...and just got a runaround with pre-recorded voices, 'accidental' hang-ups once I was patched through to real people, etc. So I just gave up on lodging a complaint. All told it took me over 3 hours to take the subway/bus to and from their sorting facility and waiting to be served. I hope that NEVER happens again!!! Needless to say, I won't ever show up before 8:00 PM ever again!

:banghead

I think we need to take bets on weather Tom get his figure first or the rest of us get our delivery notice first.

Well he arrived today and HOLY SCHIZZNITT! He looks great, he smells great, he tastes great and he's less filling.

Nah just kidding about how he smells but everything else is true. :D

And Sideshow said, "Let there be Luke."

And there was Luke; and it was good.

And Tomandshell saw the Luke, and called it good. And it was so.

And he said, "Let Sideshow bring forth the Luke, and deliver it unto me."

And on the seventh day, Fedex finally delivered Luke!!!

I just received him and haven't had a chance to check him out yet! Fedex told me to expect him on Wednesday or Thursday, so needless to say, I was surprised when he got dropped off this afternoon. This was much better than sitting there all day looking out the window for the Fedex truck to pull up! So glad the wait is over!!!
