Thanks man. I just painted over them with a darker red.

Chaka that helmet is looking terrific! Vastly improved. Magnifies how off the color and weathering is on the standard helmet.

Thanks for the pics jim! If you have time please try putting the training helmet on the sideshow head. I am curious if it fits properly and if it looks good.

You are welcome! LOL. I got mine for $190.00 shipped. Not bad. Especially since for me it's a kit I plan to bash. Change the body and change the head. Now to sell the body and the head!

What body do you plan on using? I have a spare Tatooine body that I may keep depending on how it looks, but I also thought the Hoth 1.0 that Kuat used looked nice.

That 1.0 came from the old Raiders Indy.

Hoth Luke was originally on a 1.1 with a 1.2 neck, both of which I gave to Brown coat Hoth Han.

Hoth Luke now has X-Wing Luke's body.

It gets confusing!


(I've had to record all the body changes in my list of figures so I know what I did!)

Both Hans arrived with the Pro 1.0 with 1.2 long neck.

My Blue coat is still on that body, but since one of his shins was permanently stuck partly out of the socket I pulled the other one out to match - which made him taller than normal.

The other Han 1.0 was used on a Joker bash.

Besides steaming his outfit and doing that initial run on the helmet, I haven't done any more work on this one, yet.

imundecided about getting this of Hot Toys Farmboy Luke. I only want one of them and this one seems to grab me more. I really don't like the Luke headsculpt from HT.

I'm going to get both, but if I had to choose I'd stay with Pilot Luke. As much as I like this figure, it only works with the helmet on, IMO -- but it works very, very well.

imundecided about getting this of Hot Toys Farmboy Luke. I only want one of them and this one seems to grab me more. I really don't like the Luke headsculpt from HT.

I bought the ANH Luke (some RP, under $200 all up) and the X-Wing outfit on TA for about $100 all up.

I didn't love the HT Luke in pics either (feel the same about Ben and Han...) but got him and it is as they say - way better in hand. The "I don't see Hamill" thing is laughable in-hand, but I really dislike the metallic copper hair.

I'm planning on buying another HT Farmboy Luke to use the head and body. Which TATOOINE body do you have? The SS or HT?

I have the HT Tatooine that I'm saving to try out for if/when I finally pick up the X-Wing figure. It might not fit any better but the suit always looks a little bit too baggy in the shoulders on the stock body for me. Maybe I won't mind in hand though.
