Besides steaming his outfit and doing that initial run on the helmet, I haven't done any more work on this one, yet.

That's some ace work on the helmet. I need to treat mine. Are you planning on giving a shot of finishing gloss? I'm going to coat mine just trying to find the right sheen. I think it will really help with the sideshow stickers giving it more of a sealed production look.

Thanks, hokietwo. When I have more time, I'd like to get it as close to some of the screen shots as possible; that will entail some gloss but I'm not clear on how to proceed yet; besides level, I need to work out how much (if any) matte weathering was over top of the gloss on the costume helmet. I'm guessing it'll be uneven, but haven't checked any references.

It'll be months before I do it properly, the rate I'm going. For now I'm just happy to have removed some of the factory gunk.

EDIT: Check further up the thread, Chakaman's got a lot further with his, so far.

Gotcha. I just ordered my second HT Tatooine Luke for the body and head swap. I'll be selling most everything else in the box. Clothes, belt, helmet, boots, remote.

What do you think of the body swap? The head is an obvious upgrade, but to be honest I'm not seeing more loose fabric I was kind of expecting over the stock SS body on this swap.

I think the shoulders actually look better on stock body. That HT Luke body's shoulders are non existent which is probably why he looks slouched down through the arms to me.

I kept the original Hot toys white leotard to protect the body from staining and placed the orange SS leotard over it so it's not as loose as it would be if I'd put the flight suit on the bare body. I like the upgrade. The fact that the head doesn't sit so low on the SS neck helps. That's why I wanted this body in the first place but the benefits of it are better with the ability to attach the Lightsaber arm. I think the sleeves are a bit too short. That's why I have the shoulders slouched a bit to hide the wrist pegs.

I like the ability to slouch the shoulders on that body. Hard to say if it's a huge upgrades aesthetically but it does have the perk of the lightsaber arm and all the matching flesh tones. Did the boots fit on easily?

Yes those are great benefits and I wasn't saying that point about the shoulders in a negative way. The slouching shoulders are spot on for the farmboy look and it accentuates the cut of his shirt very well on the HT figure. I was looking at my xwing look on the shelf and to me it was immediately noticable through the shoulders and arms.

Like JJim said, it's due to the pilot suit arm length and posing it to keep the material down through the wrists. The Lightsaber pics are great and made me think, oh if he just had the vest we would have an ESB Luke.

Yes. The HT foot pegs work with the SS boots. They pop on but have a bit of a wiggle. Not a big deal. Poses and stands just fine.

Best looking Bespin Han I've seen yet! Got anymore shots of him? I always thought the original sideshow gear looked a bit ill fitting.
Your dispels that notion.

Thanks! Here's the ones I have with me. I'll check to see if I have any more.

My Hoth Han is on a Chris Reeve body.
It's mostly Bespin Han parts except for the shirt and jacket are from the SS Hoth Han.
