As for X-Wing Luke, with the helmet on, it looks fantastic. One of my favorite Star Wars figures in my display.

Tried the head swap today, added a belt made my Gustavo Ponce, and not the figure is perfect!

It's interesting how the HT LUke head seems to look way better on any body except the farmboy one it originally came on.

I quite like it on the X-Wing body and the stormie body - on the farmboy body it's a bit bland.

Maybe it's just those rigid hip pockets (4 X layers of fabric I guess) that tease the leg width wider.

Finally got this figure. Unfortunately Sideshow did a poop job on the head sculpt and paint app, but imo the fig is still a home run with the helmet on. It's like a girl who doesn't look good without her make up....just leave the makeup on. Lol[emoji106]

For anyone who has this figure stock (with the helmet on). Do you prefer this on display or the Farmboy Luke?

I saw both side by side a few weeks ago and this outfit is just so much more interesting to me. Still tempted by this one but I just feel resigned to wait for the snowspeeder version now.

He pops really well on the shelf. Had some issues with the helmet on mine, ended up sending it back because the replacement also had some issues. I think I'll be waiting for the snowspeeder version now, myself. I like the white gloves and boots more than the black, plus the coat is nicer.

Well, it's not really a fair comparison because the X-wing outfit is so cool looking - bright and complex. Farmboy outfit is as plain as it gets in the SW universe.

I have my Luke X clutching the gloves and ready for action with helmet on, whereas it's harder to make farmboy Luke exciting/dynamic (stormie blaster/belt is the only pose I've found.)

You can always throw all that farm gear on him.

Thanks for the responses guys. Yeah, the Snowspeeder version just killed my desire to grab this one (it was always my preferred of the two) and I agree the Snowspeeder jacket looks great, King. Plus he has has all the gear, the belt, lightsaber, holster, blaster, grappling hoo--oh wait, almost all the gear.

I like the poncho and the goggles but never got into the floppy hat. Even the name is lame. "Aunt Beru, I can't find my floppy hat anywhere. Gosh, I'm never going to get off this rock." Luke's like Napoleon Dynamite sometimes.

Started rearranging my display since Leia just arrived and I brought Tatooine Luke back out--for me, he's a nice accessory for Ben but just not that exciting. I Just need another shelf, then these decisions won't be as complicated.

Great set-up! Love seeing them all side by side. Will Stormie Luke not hold the helmet?

That's quite a financial commitment to HT Luke heads!
