Damn, some of you just can't let something go. And I only had one, not 4.

Personally, I think this has a chance to be the most valuable of these maquettes. I think it is by far the coolest design and the ES will always make it hard to find after the initial flood.

A dollar earned today is better than a dollar earned tomorrow. You never know where this is going to end up price wise so if you main goal is to flip you can have guaranteed success now. :)

Everyone on this board has flipped something. I think the difference is when you buy something with the intent of flipping it from the start.

I don't blame someone for doing it. I really don't, but it does suck when you WANT the piece, but can't get one because the servers are slow and you can't get through due to the number of sclapers on trying to buy one just to sell it to you for 3X's the price.

That's what sucks. Again, I don't "blame" flippers because it also helps to pay for their collecting habbits too, but it does blow for those who actually want the piece in their collection.

Well this maquette is just another case of supply and demand with GG. They seem to need to take an economics class.

If they really wanted to maximize their profits they would start charging $250 for each clone commander and $220 for a Mace Maquette or they could do the amazing thing of making more and which would drive the price down a bit and they would still make more money.

I am sure people that wanted it but tried to stick it to Lucas by not paying the $14.95 (waiting until Monday) feel a little bit, what's the word....owned.

I was not sure it would last 30 minutes let alone 3 days so I paid the 15 bucks and joined. I probably will never go back to the Hyperspace website again though. I basically paid $105 for the Mace maquette which is a bargain right now.

Doesn't matter. You still flipped it. I personally don't care that you did it. What bothers me is you talk **** about others who do the same thing.

When I become filthy rich I will just buy all of my hard to find items from flippers so that I dont even have to worry about tracking something down. Also I need to learn someone to do PPO for me and be able to get them right.

I am going to be on vacation on Friday August 17 so I hope Sideshow does not put up any preorders that day.

why cant people just mind their own business instead of call people rooster suckers ?

As if the flippers are the ones to blame for the high price that things go for...

yeah exactly like SS retro spidey pf, something that I REALLY wanted on my shelf but a lot of people here ordered only to turn around and put it on ebay. IMO I have no remorse for some of you if you think that the situation with Mace is any different.

Everyone has done it, and it really doesnt matter what someone's initial "intent" is. Strip away all the BS and the fact remains you sold something for higher than retail because someone else who wanted it was willing to pay it.

All these excuses "initial intent", "long sold out product deserves market value", "not a true collector", Ive really never seen so many adults act like children. Theres a thread on RS about the age of GG collectors, and most of the people are in their 30s to 40s, yet they act like someone stole their candy.
