Jack's Smirking Revenge
Don't ever invite a flipper into your house, you silly boy. It renders you penniless.
lol
the film script is as if it was the prophet (profit) to the forthcoming of flippers
Don't forget Feldman's last line in the film:
"How much you think we should charge em for this?"
Everyone on this board has flipped something. I think the difference is when you buy something with the intent of flipping it from the start.
I don't blame someone for doing it. I really don't, but it does suck when you WANT the piece, but can't get one because the servers are slow and you can't get through due to the number of sclapers on trying to buy one just to sell it to you for 3X's the price.
That's what sucks. Again, I don't "blame" flippers because it also helps to pay for their collecting habbits too, but it does blow for those who actually want the piece in their collection.
But take a moment to think about it. if you were not rubbing it in people faces would anyone say anything to you? Maybe and maybe not...How could they if you were not talking about it, but I guess I just don't see the point is throwing rocks at a hornets nest........unless it's to make fun of Kosmo!
I just think it's rude to be tossing it in everyones face. Yeah, I'm gonna buy that and flip it. Fine do it but don't come rubbing it in my face. I'm not on here talking about how I don't like it on a constant basis.
I have noticed the amount of flipping or the talk thereof has increased by a good bit around here which is quite disturbing. If you dont want to keep the product dont buy it in the first place and if you are just doing it in order to turn a profit on it come on just go get yourself a part time job or something to make extra money. If there was no flippers, it wouldnt be so hard for people to get the items they want at reasonable prices. I know it is easy money but geez invest in something other than toys.I've seen way more talk from people here about how much they plan to flip or how proud they are than the other way around. At least over the last few months anyways. Not that I haven't missed a thread or 2.

I agree totally. Everyone when they sell something sells it for what the market will bring ya. That's how it works and so be it. I hate 2 read posts where someone says they're just gonna buy it for the total point of flipping. It kind of sucks but it's part of the game. So you deal with it and move on. You gotta do what you gotta do 2 make sure you get it.
I will say if someone asks me 2 help them @ SDCC, get something on the net, etc. Then they turn around and flip it right after they get it. Don't ask me 2 help ya ever again.

I agree capitalism is what it is and they are doing what they can to make some money. Truly where the blame lies is not with the flippers themselves but with the company who doesnt meet demand even though they could sell a lot more than they are now but they are not. GG is the biggest problem with understanding supply and demand and the aggravation that it causes for their customers.truth is neither side is wrong, how can you say it's wrong for someone to buy something at $80 and sell it for $250 & use it to pay bill etc
This a prime example of capitalism on which our society is built on. I agree it's in poor taste to rub people faces in it but think it's in reaction the the name calling & bad mouthing of someone who buys for profit
I conclusion if the prejudice towards 'flippers' disappeared then I sure the 'rubbing your faces in it' would disappear also

I do like that Sideshow usually lets the preorders dictate the edition size which helps with prices on the secondary market, well unless you are looking at things like the Marvel dioramas but everyone at one time had a chance to have all of those at retail.
Agreed but a flipper is an easier target rather than a faceless company
Why are you talking about your friend Bannister like that?
