No respect for lineage.

I did freeze frame one incredible cgi rubbery war boy being thrown from his car, it was pretty spectacular in 3D.

I took a photo thru the 3D glasses!

Quality is the most important "lineage," not whether or not a certain type of storm exists.

Did we see any Alien Queens running around the Nostromo? Did the acid that melted through several steel floors in one movie make it through Hicks' shirt and kill him? Nope and nope. So what. ALIENS was awesome.

Does AoU Cap getting shot in the chest multiple times by blasts from Ultron and Tony Stark and him *not even noticing* respect MCU lineage? Did his parkour acrobatics in TWS respect his slow CG roundhouse kick in The Avengers?

****, in the beginning of TWS Cap clears an entire ship of armed men but back on the helicarrier in Avengers he was all "Save me from this one guy Tony, he haz a gun!1!!"

Rewatched it last night and tried to keep an eye on the mask. Got pretty drunk with friends tho, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't open until after he wrecks the monster truck trying to avoid Splendid. So it may be that the mask actually breaks and can open from then on.

More likely he just looked silly screaming with a close-mouth mask.... so Miller said "let's open her up, mates!"

Did you guys notice that Joe can open his Kangaroo mouth? How the hell does that work? And why?

Seemed like it was kind of a production to put the mask on. It would be a pain to do that several times a day at meal times. Maybe some hinge releases at the press of a button. Maybe he was so furious over Splendid's death he popped the hinge so he could hear himself scream louder. Good enough reason for me anyway.
