I've seen four of the best picture nominations and room is easily the best one, quite the emotional roller coaster ride of a film.

You bring up a good point.

From what i've been reading GM actually hates the color version with the blown out colors hence his affinity for the B&W version.

He wanted a more muted Road Warrior look but was forced into Africa AND color enhancements ontop of that.

So if you really think about it, the HDR version would be the color version on steroids!

The color version we have now is like a forced HDR if that makes any sense.

The wider color spectrum wasn't there so they just artistically increased the colors they did have.

I'm thinking GM might not like HDR for FR.
