Can't wait for the B&W. When I had my old tv, we used to turn down the saturation and watch old horror movies in B&W. Halloween, The Thing, way awesome.

Humungus gets major props for doing the hockey mask thing a full year before Jason Voorhees followed suit. He'll always have that.

I'm torn on the black and white. It *does* look cool. But dat color, so glorious. I do think that B&W tends to make things look less "special effecty" so moments like the tornado storm will be even more seamless. We'll see, this might be another case like with Star Wars and The Abyss where I actually disagree with the director on the best version of the film.

Sorry Khev, but even behind the scenes Humungus was a bad ass villain!

Did I just ruin Humungus. :lol
One thing I really like about Road Warrior, is that the first time we see him ranting through Max's distant point of view, we have no idea what he's talking about. Then later, when we do hear him, there are segments where the audience doesn't hear him again. And to my eyes, the reason is that the substance of the rant is irrelevant, and Miller's approach makes him seem somewhat absurd. I suspect Miller filmed this intentionally to make this point. He's the leader of a band of weak-minded lunatics, and is a leader, in part, because he's a good, charismatic orator. But he doesn't say anything of great importance. His intentions are clear, irrespective of what he says. Not very different than numerous political leaders we've seen.
