thanks for the reply. I think I only have the newer bodies left but I have sued some old TTs on prior Joes. I'll take a shot and post my results if anyone is interested.

Yeah, someone helped me out. I think it was onethousandmasks or screamingmetal.

Just make sure the shoulder joint of the robot arm is bar-ball shaped. I'm thinking that's what sideshow is using.

Yes it can. TA has 'em broken down but you have to buy it in 2 parts: gun with holster and just hip holster-carrier with belt.

Thanks Man. I bought a riggers belt from a broken down Stalker that I want to use in addition to the gun belt, I just wasn't sure how I could get it on him if the gun belt couldn't be taken off.

I agree with King in regards to the paint and uniform. But I'm also underwhelmed. Maybe it's the Frankenstein hand. You can just tell it's ridiculously bigger than it needed to been.

King: did your Exclusive come with the "snap-on optical viewer"?????

Teemu: I can't say they are or are not using "cheap glue". But now that we've had 2 confirmed broken hands, out of how many that have been received, it definitely points to a fragile design....

I can't answer for King, but the guy on hisstank has pictures of the exclusive optic viewer thing. You should've got one if you bought the exclusive.

I do, the exclusive head is wider than the regular head. The reg. head does look a little pinheaded to me in the first pics but I thought it's not an issue with the helmet, but I'm glad I ordered the excl. which I thought I'd have no use for.

KD put an eyepatch on the exclusive. In that shot they look identical.

Is it just lighting or me or does the armor on Kings figure look way darker than everyone else's photos? Some look straight up silver while others look dark. Here's hoping the paint on mine looks darker when he gets here tomorrow. It'll be my 6th sideshow joe figure in as many days. Christmas in September!

A few quick pics.

The robot are is well done, detailed and works good.
Both sculpts are good. I also prefer the exclusive one. Will move the patch to it as well.
I like the boots and belt.
I like the box as well. The flat finish looks good. And they take up less space. The art in the tray looks great, and that should have been on the box front.

The chest armor, like Zartan's, is too bulky. I'll prolly make something closer to the original figure.
Knees suck and the human arm's elbow is weak. Won't hold up either gun.

Overall a nice figure, and glad to have him on the shelf. More of a $140 range figure though. I look forward to the tweaking.

Oh and after taking the group pic, Bludd of course fell over taking SS and CC out with him.

Would love to see Mando cast up a Hasbro rocket launcher gun. Also you could try using the Snowtrooper armor painted black.

King, how did you rig up the extra eye patch on the alt sculpt?

Also, can his gun belt be taken off?

Just make a match with spare parts from my bin. The patch is a piece of Zartan's leg armor I removed to add MANDO's.

And yes it can be taken off.

The regular sculpt is smaller and has a peanut head shape. And the stash is different.

I'm sure its lighting and camera quality. In hand mine looks like my pictures, there is a difference but not nearly as much as some pictures make it look.

I would agree 100% with that. Wife paid $100 of Bludd so that was awesome, but $140 would have been much more reasonable.
