I just finished Imperial Commando 501st, and its like someone said earlier, we are completely left hanging. It's not a cliffhanger or anything like that, more like the intermission in a long movie. Except the projectors broken and the rest of the movie isn't going to be shown. I hope they get someone else to write the next book because the series needs a finish at this point.

I sense...yes...i sense Lucasbooks ingnoring the crys of fans...i see this series being forgotten in favor of yet more tie-in novels for the Clone Wars...

I also sense a sudden end to the "Fate of the Jedi" series, possibly so they can retcon the last decade of novels into hell so they can have a less articulate future of hippies :p

What's up with those tie-in novels anyway? They look like kids books based on episodes of the show.

The tie in novels were started by....Karen Travis...as a way to expand on the events of the Clone Wars using the series characters...

After only two novels they went onto another author (i wont why...) and will soon come to an end when they move on to other subjects...

I see. I read the first one, which was pretty unncessary because it was exactly the same as the movie. Made the same mistake with The Force Unleashed. :lol

well the "first " Clone Wars book was the tie in novel to the "film", so it would be the same :p

As for The Force Unleashed...i actually prefered the book to the game, as the book was able to expand on things a bit more...but thats due to it being a different medium :D

I was just expecting them to expand even more. Neither seemed to show much more than what was seen on screen.
