Went to the game Friday night... great atmosphere! (crap ending of course).
I was in the club level and let me tell you there were SO MANY SUPER SMOKING LADIES there.... Just amazing.

your pitchers are probably good enough to not be affected, but no team likes to sit that long, especially one as hot as the Phillies. The rest killed the streaking Rockies in 2007. So I wouldn't be

i'm not the one that follows only 1 team and wouldn't know a baseball from a comquat if philadelphia didn't have a team. i actually know baseball history.
hot teams don't like breaks unless they are missing key players in the lineup which the phils are not. i look for the hitters to be a bit rusty, probably all the teams.

the TB fans leaving in droves before the final out was sad. that team needs to be folded. don't even move the team. send all the players to other teams. fold the marlins as well. florida can keep its college football.

i'm stoked for the NLCS. the pitching matchups are going to be brutal. I see a bunch of 2-1, 3-2 games.

Agreed. No way they let Lee walk after trading for him and seeing what he can do in the postseason....that said i'd love to see the Sox pick him up.

I would too, but I don't think he'll go anywhere, but NY. He's already made it clear that he's going to the highest bidder and we all know who that will be.
Besides the Sox still have to pay those hefty contracts Beckett and Lackey just got. On top of that ownership is going to buy a soccer team. They couldn't spend 750K for Kerry Wood, but they can buy a 450 million dollar soccer team.
There are rumors that they might target Japanese pitcher Yu Darvish when he's posted in November. I can just see Daisuke 2.0.
