You claimed a numbers spike, whereas I said his numbers only got better. From what you've posted you're in agreement. not sure why you continue to argue :lol

Hahaha wow it only took St Louis fans a decade to admit that. Yet, they used the same arguments you're using right now to defend McGwire all those years. Coincidence? I think not.

Oh so you're a doctor as well as a psychic Josh?! Good to know. Can you tell me the power ball numbers for the next big jackpot? How about the winner of this year's World Series? :rotfl

I know when to check out of an argument you're never gonna see an end to.

The only questions you've asked were after my question that you chose not to answer in a poor excuse of a deflection :rotfl

Not the brightest star in the sky, but at least you "studied for 4 years" :lol

I asked you what your team was, and what you wanted to know about PEDs.

If you can't figure out what my team is simply by reading my forum name, than this is a sure fire sign that I'm wasting my time debating with you. :lol

Ciao

I just wanted you to say it, but I guess that's a fail on me. :lol

So no questions on PEDs?!?! :dunno

Anyways back to baseball. Cards pitching tonight sucked. :(

Yeah, the wheels are starting to come off on this team. As long as they can stay afloat until everyone is healthy again.

Makes you wonder if there will be a trade next month. Some of the writers are saying bullpen help. I would be on the fence about a Reyes addition, especially with his contract. It would be nice to have a real SS again, though. Theriot has been hot at the bat so maybe slide him to 2B.

Well, we need pitching help thats for sure. Especially in the pen where I've seen more leads blown this year than I can remember. Their overall record is as good as anyones but won't be if the pen can't hold up I wouldn't mind reyes but think need more arms than a bat. Especially as Pujols continues to do his thing and Matt gets back.

And the pen was doing so well, too, but guys like Bautista and Miller are showing their age and usage. Couple that with the rooks and it's slowly cooking into a mess. I wouldn't mind another solid arm out there with some experience.

When does Freese come back?!?! He needs to get back by the AS break for this team to continue leading the Central.

Yeah, its a mix of too old and maybe too young in the pen. Could get ugly. :lol

I'm not sure. I would think by the AS break at the latest.

Oh, and Franklin with the +8 ERA isn't helping this team, either. WTH. :gah:

He's been downright horrible. :slap

Works for me. 1/4 the franchises in MLB are an embarrassment to the sport and don't put the fans $ into the product on the field.

Goodbye bottom of the barrel payroll teams :wave :lol

I got a St Louis joke too -

Albert Pujols is clean.

So was Mark McGwire.

:lol

Not every team has the bottomless pit of money that the Yanks have. And you wouldn't talk that way if you didn't.

As for the Pujols joke...

Pot. Kettle. Black.

If I were a fan of a team in the middle or bottom of the payroll pack, such as the Tampa Bay Rays, who at least TRY to compete I would talk this way as well so your point is false.

But I have no sympathy for a team like the Pirates who's owners make zero attempts to improve the product on the field and are going on their 20 th losing season in a row. Instead they pocket the fans money and the money from high payroll teams and spend it elsewhere. The fans deserve better and so does MLB.

You. Sound. Mad.

I'm not mad. Why should I be?

Besides, arguing with a Yankee fan is pointless. I dated one for 3 years. Actually, if you weren't from New Jersey, I'd think you were him! :lol
