I think that the head of the figure is perfect for the character. in the film you have an actor with a mask that have mechanism for jaws and on that mask you must put the biomask...
the head of the figure is not little; the costume head is huge.
Look at the avp figures head: enormous! ridicolous imo.

I agree with that logic. Accuracy at the cost of a nice looking collectible is something prop collectors deal with all the time.

I think this is outstanding. Sure, the design is wrong however I feel that this looks better than in the film, more...predator-like? Can't wait until I pre-order this!

I didn't really care for the movie, or the new predators. But Hot Toys has done a fantastic job on this, really impressed.
Edit: It blows their previous attempts at predator figures out of the water imo.

I have to be honest - I actually think the hot toys beserker predator looks better than the one in the movie.
Especially with his mask off. I thought the one in the movie looked really dumb with how far out his lower mandibles out-stretched. It just seemed a little ridiculous and reminded me of the crazy zombies in resident evil or the vampire mutants in Blade 2.
Considering picking this one up.

It always cracks me up how their original version looks more accurate than the final thing. Why did they repaint the mask brown and pit it? From the looks of these, they didn't at first!

How do you figure? The foot/ankle is one solid piece. The leg plugs into that.
