He paints the details of the skin: black and red dots.... and then, the base coat (light green and cream color)???

The base coat should be the first thing, and then the details.. At least is what I learned about paint technics

Doubtful. I think we'll see him in the $174 range.

I think thats because it allows him to blend the colors more. Layered affect. thats how I have learned to do Predator spots.

Are we still getting some torso articulation? Is it going to be a rubber encasing, or one piece all in hard plastic (which would be a shame). They already got rid of the double knee joint, it seems... let's hope that's all they take off. Newer Preds means more-refined and improved figure construction and poseability. That's what we got out of P1 (which can squat more than any other HT Pred). Let's hope we still get some of those technical improvements here...

AND FALCONER RULES! Hell, I may sell off my older HT Preds and get all three. Together with my P1, I'd have HT's newest and most detailed Preds, all from the new movie.

Head sculpt would undeoubtedly be the same. Paint apps... probaby different. Can't wait to find out !

it's my limit but i don't understand the criticism about the head. where is the inaccuracy?

It's about the most inaccurate head sculpt they've done in a long, long while. The head as a whole should be much larger, and the mouth especially should be about twice as large as it is. A guy did a great photoshop of the actual head onto the figure in the other thread. The only part they really got right is the crown of the head.

Man, that does look really good. I'm not sure if the head is accurate or not (in the film it was pretty hard to make out ANY of the Predators other than Classic because it was so dark) but that figure looks awesome and I'm not even a huge Predator fan.

The paint apps and textures are perfect.
