No I am posting from a cell phone I'll take any short cut I can get to convey my point. If I was on a laptop then yes I would be more willing to type things out.

Either way don't resort to stupid grammar **** to dismiss my point. In future maybe don't argue with people opinions especially if they are valid. Avengers is a great movie overall but it does have issues and to argue otherwise makes u come off as nothing more then an impartial cheerleader for the films you like. No film is perfect no matter how much u love it. If u want to be respected as a film gura, which I believe u are at least be open minded and acknowledge flaws in themovies u love and good qualities in the movies u hate, otherwise your opinion is worth a grain of salt since its always biased by your feelings.

Well, you can't say you have "expanded" the Superman character outside the comics, because the comics are where all the expansion is at, otherwise you have a limited vision of what Superman is.

And yes,MoS Zod lines are waaay superior and more powerful in my opinion, no question, specially the I WILL FIND HIM line and then his mouth flickering with anger, damn.

And about the nostalgia card, that's why I never used it before, I don't throw away those statements willy nilly, I've seen what everybody has to say that's why I said that they seem to put nostalgia armor on the Donner movies, I try not to be blinded by nostalgia, nor modernism, I don't like MoS because of it's CGI or FX, that's just sugar on top an already great movie.

The 1st hour and a half of story setting and character development before all the ****storm already makes it the best Supes movie for me.

I hate blockbusters that their main substance is epicness or cgi, like transformers or the Avengers.

Neither do I. And after IM3 i find it to be a little better. I think Cap and IM1 are just better films. Mainly because neither was using the Avengers as a crutch.

to me, filling in a gap with Avengers i would use Black Widow as an example. I know her comic book origins very well, ive read a lot of her stuff. But so far in all the films they do not talk about her past at all. How is she so highly trained? Why does she want to erase her past? What is her relationship to Hawkeye. They showed "nothing" of her background.

So we fill in the gap in our mind until maybe one day they show what happened with her. For those who never read her comics, i see people saying "Why is she so special?" all the the time.

I know why, but others do not....so to me that is a gap that needs to be filled with your mind that the "red" she refers to must have been really bad.

Another gap to fill in...Loki is handcuffed at the end of Avengers. They didnt show where or how his handcuffs came from. We fill in the gap that Asgard sent it down probably? same with the container that held the tesseract at the end. Not shown, but we can fill it in.

Also, black widow is supposed to be genetically enhanced, they didn't mention that in the movie did they? In the movie she's a regular assassin killing alien warriors...

actually the biggest one i can think of right now is TDKR when batman gets out of The Bat before the nuke explodes. OMG so many people had a problem with that, i have no idea why? Its like if you show how he escaped then that kills the entire ending to see him still alive at the very last scene with Selina.
