Unless I am very much mistaken, this video is by the brother of our regular posting colleague Barry Murray, AKA..username. His Superman collection goes beyond insane!!

I haven't bought a DVD or Bluray in quite some time, but when I do I wait till they are under ten bucks. I :lol a people that spend 20 or 30+ on a damn dvd. :lol

I still haven't added TDKR....

:rotfl Cheapskate!! :rotfl

It's the folks that buy straight away that make the prices fall quicker!

come on now. People in this hobby can't laugh at ANYBODY for wasting money on ANYTHING. :lol

$20-30 on a DVD is a better value than most 1/6 scale SSC figures :monkey1

I've got a tub full of junk from TA and Monkey store that I will never use. :lol The should be boxed up with the 300 dvds I have that I don't watch. :lol

I actually agree with you. I used to be DVDs all the time, and have boxes in my closet full of them. But now, I hardly ever have time to watch full movies anyway, and most of what I want I could find from Netflix or buying an instant movie from Amazon. So I don't really buy DVDs/Blu Rays either, unless I am a really big fan (I think Avengers is the only "new" movie I bought on DVD over the last 6 months or so), or unless I find something I really like on sale for < $10.

If its a movie I really want to have on Blu I order it and have it when it comes out. I don't feel like waiting. :lol

DVD is general term.

I guess we can say digital optical disc so Khev to join in.

I used to spend $60-100 on laserdiscs in the 90's. $100 for one movie! $20 for an awesome high definition disc is peanuts. No way I'm going to prolong watching my favorite movies for years over peanuts.

It cost my wife and I $35 for two tickets to see Thor 2. And that was for one showing. $19.99 for infinite showings when it hits Blu-ray? Pssh. Peanuts. :lecture

anyone with buyers remorse lol ,id be happy to buy your unwanted man of steel usa blu ray or more particularly the 2nd blu ray with the "journey of discovery" special feature on it ,i bought the french version ,that one only has the "journey" feature as a download ,due to my crappy old tower and connection speed ,that wont work for me ,it doesn't look like the uk is getting any better treated than the rest of Europe on the 2nd of December when we get our version over here ,so if anyone can sell me theirs or even sell me a burned copy ,it would have to be a blu ray or region free dvd as USA dvd wont play on my Sony blu player ,on the subject of burned copies ,i have the same problem in trying to find ,superboy season 2 ,3 ,and 4, ,they don't sell outside the states and if i could find them they would be region coded on not playable for me ,so id be interested in those also again thanks to all and any who can help cheers chris

Do you mean that I have to go up into my attic and pull out some of my Super-8mm movies and projector? :)

I must say, good sir, you do that and you've won... um... what's the opposite of the internet? :nana:

On a sad note, it's a damn shame kids nowadays are looking at that post and thinking you're talking about a bullet. :lol

The outernet?

I was thinking more of maybe postal mule. :lol

I was just kidding about the Super8mm stuff. I got rid of that a while back.

:monkey2 We had all our home movies converted to DVD about 10 years ago. It's just not the same as sitting around the projector and having it's noise in the background watching the movies.
