Again, I don't think anyone disputes that "travel" is a right.

However, I fail to see how this translates to "travel by means of a specific form of conveyance at someone else's expense" being a right, by any interpretation.

When choosing to travel by any means that involves the time, expense, or means of conveyance of another individual or organization, a traveler must abide by the wishes, and even the whims, of the provider of that conveyance, or else choose not to travel with them.

gonna make this short and hopefully some of you can comprehend this.....

the 4th Ammendment

against unreasonable searches and seizures,So the TSA are breaking the law and are violating the Constitution

Your snarky tone is insulting, frankly. Dont assume you are smarter than the rest if you want to make a point that is to be taken seriously.

The true question is what is a reasonable search, is it not? Touching people's junk to avoid planes blowing up is, to me, not unreasonable.

Violationing the Constitution to keep people safe......I love it - that angle is amusing to me.... literally.

I imagine people that get this upset over a body search are the same ones that go home, go to their backyard - look up at the moon and ask, "Why me?"

Legally speaking, travel is a right. The "freedom of movement" was recognized as Constitutionally protected under the Privileges and Immunities Clause (U.S. vs. Wheeler, 1920), and is included in the term "liberty" in the paraphrase "cannot be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law" (5th and 14th Amendments).

However, traveling by plane is not a right, it is a privilege. They can't lock you down without due process ... but they can keep you off of a plane. But, it is also a business ... so if enough people don't have or want the privilege to fly, the airline industry is going to have a problem.

you just dont get it ....never said I was smarter,I just pointed out FACTS that nobody is talking about, but let the old fat man have his way :)

Oh,statistically, you have a greater chance of getting struck down by lightning or killed in a car acident than terrorists blowing up a plane

Actually, you kind of did. True, you didn't use the phrase "I am smarter than everyone else", but you did use the phrase "hopefully some of you can comprehend this", which can easily be interpreted as "I can comprehend this, but most of you can't", or in other words, "I am smarter than most of you".

And, FWIW, "you just don't get it" also somewhat implies the same thing.

Fair enough......people will have to agree to disagree with this one. I fully expect the TSA to pull back its current position....I just wished people got this passionate over issues like out-of-control-govt spending

I agree with that

I'm not siding with screenings, but using Israel as a measuring stick for perfect security is missing the fact that in Israel an exploding bus is common place and their security walks around with machine guns.

For anyone that thinks these screenings are a good thing, read this story and what this woman had to endure.

My suggestion, profile the hell out of anyone that looks like they might be a terrorist and leave the babies and grandmas alone. Israel seems to be able to follow this policy just fine. But America is too PC to actually let common sense prevail.

this is a good article....Sodium Fluoride plays a part in the people being Docile

Hitler used Fluoride in his concentration camps to make his prisoners Docile

it is a RIGHT...you have listened to the ****tube and was told otherwise by the mainstream media of lies....and yes any search, without probable cause and without a warrant is a violation of the Constitution
PERIOD!!

anyone that give a crap watch this video

TSA is out of control

So you are telling me that to be searched to enter a facility is illegal? So if I want to bring a bomb in to the white house they must let me and they can't search me?

I have one question for everyone, how often do you fly?

I for one spend just 6-8 days in airports and fly over 100K miles a year.

I have no issue with the screenings, and anyone who thinks these screenings aren't needed is playing with MY life.

I have found other places that the people who feel the most that its wrong seem to fly the least.

Search without a warrant is not necessarily a Constitutional violation ... unreasonable search and seizure is a Constitutional violation. Pre-flight searches (like White House searches) are considered reasonable, and not in violation of search and seizure laws (though these specific searches may be considered unreasonable).

It actually helps Constitutionality that they search everyone equally.

I agree , that was for those who think its un-constitutional

WTF were they doing to that little girl? :horror

Seems more like an out of control child and crappy parents.

Its not hard to edit anything to make something look worse then it was and point blame where it shouldn't be pointed.

I'm not sure these are unconstitutional. They may be considered unreasonable, but that'll be worked out by the Courts. The question of whether they CAN search in this way is different from the question of whether they should.

Legally, they may be able to search like this. Politically and economically, I don't think this will last long. People are going to stop flying. They're already raising hell. People seem to think it is unreasonable ... and if the people don't want your laws, then the law will go.

Honestly, profiling makes more sense than this. This seems to be a huge waste of time and resources.
