The way I see it...ending up in this situation is prime opportunity for comedy. There is no reason to create a bunch of drama over it.

Sorry if you don't think a kid should be screened then i say don't you dare get on a plane with me. So you want to make a nice open hole for people to just use kids to smuggle whet they want?
Oh and the fact that dad wanted the sacrifice his daughter for a story is even worse to me but not surprising.
I also noticed neither of want to say how often you fly so I am going to guess you just spouting off about something that doesn't really effect you.

It looked like the girl was getting patted on the legs and arms - hardly what I would consider "feeling up". She seemed to be upset about not having her teddy bear - plus I am sure a stranger touching you is scary - but I didn't see anything inappropriate being done. I will agree that they should have TSA agents who are trained to work with kids do the patting down so the children aren't so scared.
From the outcry I expected seeing someone trying to get their jollies off on a little girl....not at all what I saw on that video.
After 9/11, every time I flew (for about a year afterward) I got picked for an extensive search - which included a pat down and a couple questions. I'm sure it had to do with my lovely olive skin complexion - but I complied. I have nothing to hide and if I choose to fly then I'll abide by their rules. If at some point I think they are crossing the line, then simple...I'll find another way to travel.
what does it matter if either of us fly or not? good greif! its about our rights be violated and TSA out of control! Some people will defend these actions anyway they can...I feel sorry for the kids who have parents that would subject them to this nonsense

dude, you're being stupid. i don't disagree with your points, but if you can't validate your data or evidence, then you just look stupid. That specific video has been debunked. The father took the shirt off the kid without being asked to, not the TSA. If you want to be taken seriously, try not to post debunked rumors.

This invasion of personal privacy is just one of the first steps. All of you who are ok with this make sure to be the first in line for your RFID chips. They are coming. It's all about setting people up and getting them used to the loss of little freedoms here and there.
The things I wonder is if this stuff is actually making a difference?

You posted that video, when in reality, the father took the shirt off the kid himself, not the TSA. The greater invasion of privacy are the morons spreading unauthorized videotaping of a child across the internet without knowing jacksht of the true story.
