After watching both skits, I definitely think it could have all been a publicity thing just to get more press for "Max Payne". Wahlberg didn't seem too upset, and he talked to the donkey too!
I thought Poehler's "I'm No Angel" commercial was the funniest thing they've done in years.
Old-fashioned, slapstick humor.
Also, "MacGruber"'s usually good for a couple of spontaneous laughs.
Okay, how many that thought the original sketch was funny, even without the followup, are Family Guy fans?
I thought so.
And Macgruber puzzles me as well - I've never found it worth even a smile. In fact everything that guy who plays MacGruber is in is kind of lame.
That's so funny Dave. I like the original Mark Wahlberg tlaking to animals skit, I like the Family guy (watching it now) and thought the Macgruber skits this week were ridiculously stupidly hillarious.
I already know you don't like Family guy, and your conclusion about family guy/macgruber/wahlberg's talking to animals skit probably has some deep psychological meaning.
You should charge for therapy lessons, there's a hidden perception that you have.
from my understanding people are laughing about that movie as it is.They should've made fun of The Happening.
So was this planned from the beginning? I got the impression that Wahlberg only came on as a response to the initial skit. If it was all an elaborately planned setup, then I am left scratching my head even more and wondering why all the trouble, lol.
The whole thing just feels staged for the sake of putting Wahlberg out there to sell his new flick.
