My two Alfreds finally arrived today even though the USPS tracking still said they were at a distribution center in Atlanta. The paint on both heads is good, both phones and busts work. And I got 12 full glasses of milk. Everything looks good even though one of them had been opened by customs. Very happy with these.

Alfred arrived to New Jersey today. I am keeping him in his tux serving drinks since I ordered the extra body for his other suit. I just wish the extra body came with a head without a hat for the apron look and perhaps a feather duster.

That way I can have Alfred dusting the Tweeterhead BatComputer I just purchased on eBay:

I am sure the Jazzinc Batcomputer will blow this away but it's a fun background piece for me. I'll also move the Batcomputer sign to it's proper place once I receive it.

Stupid question but I don't recall it being asked - how do you turn the phone and statue on? I've seen others using what looks to be a small battery sized magnet or something, but I never found that with the figure.

I tried a potato chip clip with a small round magnet on the other side and it worked perfect.

I also just tried a chess pawn magnet (nothing fancy) and it also worked great.

Perhaps magnets could be added to the table. Slide them over the area with the magnets and they turn on… slide away to turn off…? Just an idea. I’m going to make it happen for sure. Love to hear other’s ideas. We have a creative collective right here. When the hysteria is at a minimum of course.

But when it does arrive the plan is to make a stand that has a stationary table tall enough that Alfred can comfortably answer the phone. I want to display him with the receiver to his ear and I don’t think that short table will do.

Newmar body is going to be extremely tough for Mars.

And in the meantime, JazzInc is making an authorized version of Newmar. So a good portion of Mars's market will already have their Catwoman. That's why I suggested that Mars might do another actress of Catwoman. They could do a double-pack of Meriwether and Kitt. It would also keep the attachment to the Batman movie that Mars has been doing.
