I wonder if they'll do this only for titles kids tend to watch? Or maybe they are putting up special "sanitized" versions for younger children based on parental controls? If that is the case, then I think it is actually a smart move.

I went into my unrestricted account and it’s changed there as well.

Thanks for doing that. I thought about checking myself but then realized it would involve me having to revisit TFATWS and thought nah, lol.
HAHAHAHAHA I was thinking that too. I did not want to watch that again.... :D

I hope they only do this based on account restrictions though while leaving it untouched for the unrestricted accounts. I'd actually welcome that.

Then they should never let their kids watch The First Avenger because that movie is brutal, people getting diced up by propellors into bloody mist.

But the tiniest bit of blood next to a dead guy is too much.

Every generation seems to get softer and softer. A bunch of little snowflakes. And the parents are the worst. Its like they forgot the things they saw/did as a kid, or somehow feel they were traumatized by it. Most parents are clueless as to what their kids are doing/ being subject to. Between the internet and kids having smart phones at such an early age, they've been subject to waay worse than seeing blood on a TV show. All it takes is that one friend or kid at school.....

My kids are pretty innocent today compared to what I was like/did at their age and even younger. At least I think they are. :lol I can only image what I would've done/seen if the internet existed back then.

Well then it's less about each generation getting softer and more about society's increasing attempts to moderate as a response to today's technologies making it so easy for kids to see things we think they shouldn't be seeing at the young ages they are now seeing them.

I didn't see hardcore **** till I was 15 at least and probably didn't have regular access to it myself till I was over 20 - they're probably streaming it age 7 now.

Heh me and most of my classmates saw our first **** films at age 7 too (stolen betamax tapes from our dads' stashes) and we've had our first pin-ups around that age too.

But yeah I think overall society is trying to moderate stuff even more in an attempt to "protect" children. More so in western countries as of late it seems. It's not even just on media, but there are some strange legislature coming out of places like the USA as well.

This is why streaming sucks. Also, people have gone back and watched this again? Why?!
Would have been better to censor that cringe-inducing speech, so that kids don't learn to be someone who can clear a room just by opening their mouths. That was absolute brutal violence against my brain and GI tract and nobody cares.:Flush

Good to know tho there's no way I'd watch that limp, overly messaged, Bucky-nerfing, Sam Wilson the boring financial failure, character annihilating effort again anyway.:stake

One watches TFatWS just to see Baron Nemo; this is the only legitimate reason. Zemo is a delight, and I said what I said.
I watched it for Sam and Bucky and to watch Sam become the new Captain America. I enjoyed the show thoroughly.

Your mileage obviously varied. Neither of us is right or wrong. It's just our opinions.

I was joking in response to prior naysaying; I watched the whole thing but Zemo was definitely the best part, lol.

Bucky did endure significant nerfing.
Ah, my bad. :duff

I do agree that Zemo was the best part and Daniel Brühl brought his "A" game to FATWS, especially during the nightclub scene. :yess:

I’m excited about the competition too. The last time Hot Toys had competition we got the QS001 which IMO is still their best and most complete figure.

I agree that The Batman release seems it was designed with the knowledge they would have competition. It’s one of the most complete single releases they have made in the last decade. There are still things I think could be better though and I’m excited to potentially own and compare the different competing versions.

I’m still excited for the DX19/QS019 and any improvements they may have but would gladly buy a superior competitor if their rerelease is a harbinger of more competition.

The only person I feel bad for in all of this is Asmus who I feel was really trying their hardest but just couldn’t quite get to definitive status. Unfortunately despite their hard work I feel they won’t be able to keep up with any serious competition. Maybe they can focus on soldier and orc characters and let the competition tackle the difficult human likenesses.

Regardless, this is the most exciting this hobby has been since I started collecting a couple years ago.

Thank you for saying that, because if you hadn’t I was going to. Prior to its release, this has been my most anticipated of the Disney+ Marvel shows, but after watching it, I’d say it’s easily the weakest. Boring, completely forgettable villains that we’re supposed to sympathize with, for some reason. I’ll give them this, the principle actors did their best to try to polish this turd, but ultimately they couldn’t overcome the terrible writing.
