I did not need the action ending. I thought it was going nuts also and was hating it. I thought it would give us an ending though.

In the whole series I laughed out load twice, Smiled a few times, and rolled with the rest. 25 min was the perfect episode length for this show and in the end it was harmless.

Accept to the hulk and his universe. **** this show for that.
Oh don't get me wrong, I was rolling my eyes while laughing at the entire action ending (confused feelings... I know!). I like that she resolved it as Jen (using the law) rather than smashing her way through. Something just felt off at first watch though.

The more I think of it though, the more I think it makes sense only because this is She-Hulk and this is how she is in the comics.

Well that was a hell of a thing. I enjoyed the episode overall, and got a kick out of some of the extreme wall-breaking at the end... but at the same time was a bit frustrated not to get a proper and more natural wrapup of the season. As I was one of the few who was actually invested in the character and her journey all this time, and this felt like it just tossed that all aside for a bunch of unnecessary Marvel in-jokes and wackiness.

But oh well, not the biggest deal in the world and I'm still fully onboard for a second season if they decide to make one.

Funny you say that.

When they interviewed Jessica Gao, she said:

"Coming from television, you can never guarantee that you’re going to get another season with a first season show. So it's kind of been trained into my head that, on a first-season show, you really have to tell a complete story that you’d be satisfied with if this is only a one-and-done.

"There's never a guarantee," added Gao. "You just never know if you're going to get another season, so you can’t really hold back and just leave things open-ended.

"You do have to tell some sort of satisfying arc in one season just in case, and then of course you leave the door open for possibilities for a second, third, and fourth season. So that was kind of my mental approach to it."

I have to say this was probably one of my favorite D+ Marvel shows. Enjoyed every episode, thought they were fun and light entertainment with some awesome cameos.

But, as seems to be the standard for D+ Marvel shows, the ending left me dissapointed.

I liked that it was unconventional and not the usual boring Marvel formula, but I guess I expected something more from it. I think they overdid it with the fourth-wall smashing, where the nuanced talking to the camera throughout the season was pretty awesome and reminded me very much of Malcolm in the Middle.

All in all though a pretty fun show and I can't wait to see more of She-Hulk in the future.

For now all that's left is for Hot Toys to bring us a She-Hulk figure! :D

Well I'd still say it was a pretty satisfying ending and a fun conclusion to the season... it just didn't really wrap up Jen's story as well as I would have wanted.

But again, we're talking about a goofy superhero comedy show, so it's hard for me to get all that upset about it.

The only positive is that this show has made quite literally every other MCU project look like a masterpiece, in comparison. So there is that I guess. LOL.

Just as well - we wouldn't like you when you're . . . (* no - no . . . . do NOT go there Spike!

It tried to be like the zany fourth-wall breaking nonsense I loved about her in the first place.

Her ending a story by going after the writers and creators is exactly what I wanted and expected from a She-Hulk story and feared they would never do because it’s so atypical… but they went all in!

Loved it!
I don’t read comics so I just go by what I see on screen. For me this just wasn’t anything, absolute nothingburger. Waste of time.

Yes, I felt the same. While I thoroughly enjoyed the extended 4th wall breaking scenes,
I was not expecting them to completely replace seeing Jen resolve some of these storylines on screen. A few things were left dangling. For example, did K.E.V.I.N.'s rewrite eliminate Todd's injecting himself with the Hulk serum and Hulking out? What about Josh's role in Todd's plan - was he brought to justice as well? While a fun episode, it seems they could have spent an extra 30 seconds dotting the i's and crossing the t's. As for the introduction of Skaar, I found it odd (or was it purposely meta?) that they'd lampoon typical MCU endings only to revert back to a typical MCU WTF move at the very end. :lol

I can’t believe that they derailed her entire arc just to make a gotchya moment against internet male toxicity.

They took the floor right out from under her character’s arc just for that message.

She literally marched into Marvel studios and had the male toxicity cancelled on the spot lol

Then they didn’t even have the courage to make Kevin Feige himself appear because he is a man who would’ve saved her from the toxicity so they made him into a robot :slap

I’ve seen some complain about the “smashing Matt Murdock” line. They said “could you imagine a male superhero looking right at the screen and talk about smashing a female in that way”

At first I rolled my eyes at that comment but then I remember how they insisted on neutering James Bond over the last few films.

Seems like there is a desire to replace toxic males with toxic females. :lol

I don’t care about jabs at internet trolls but sometimes a show or movie really does suck and it has nothing to do with the *** or race of the person saying it.

I think there has been both valid and invalid criticisms thrown at this show. Writers should look at the valid ones and make some changes rather than complain “man bad” :lol

That was me that brought up “Murdock Smash!” lol

Yes, Marvel would never have the male heroes make *** jokes at the ladies’ expense…

Yeah, but that was a different time in Hollywood. Pre Me Too Movement, Man Bashing, all Men are dumb and evil and toxic masculinity bad!!!! Might as well been a different century rather than barely a decade ago.

The good times, when it was ok to be a man and celebrate manly things.
