See here's the thing :lol

I know deep down in my heart she's a better villain in every way, maybe not better than Kingpin but if I'm not being biased and I'm taking everything into account, then Yea she wouldn't be above Kingpin or Loki just based on relevance.

She's definitely ahead of TWS, I don't see how he's a better villain than she is.

Rewatch X2, I can tell it's been a while for you, comeback and let's talk. You'll admit that Stryker is a better villain than every one in the MCU and we can end this debate.

The debate is over.

You love Fox, Striker, and X2 is your favorite film.

I really like X1,X2, FC, DOFP, Logan, and DP.

But I also like some of the MCU films and know how iconic they have become in a short time.

Magneto is my second favorite superhero villain behind Joker.

As far as Stryker, don't like him that much. He's a serviceable antagonist, but just an angry human with a good motive, imo.

He's still a top villain....but to say Mystique is better than Kingpin, Loki, and TWS is ludicrous.

Pure fanboy talk.

Nothing wrong with it, but you can't argue with pturtle.

:exactly: :lecture

Stryker is a good movie villain. Great performance and believable agenda with the resources to pursue it.

He's comparable to Zemo but way more presence and a more straightforward story. But I also enjoy Zemo's mystery and the gut punch he pulls off in the climax.

I only remember Stryker being chained to something and yelling at Wolverine? Does he die in the flood?

lol

great post

That's the thing though, I don't love Fox, and X2 isn't my favorite film, it's not even in my top 2 favorite superheroes movies :lol

If I LOVED Fox, I wouldn't have the Fantastic Four in my top 3 worst superhero movies ever, I probably would have gone to X-Men Origins in theaters, I probably wouldn't have admitted that I enjoyed BvS and Civil War more than Apocalypse, I'd probably be looking forward to their next X-Men film, I wasn't a fan of Deadpool, X3, Origins, Apocalypse or The Wolverine, etc...

Hell, when I came out of Logan I said it was disappointing.

I actually try to judge things as unbiasedly as possible.

Outside of me saying Mystique was a better villain than Kingpin and Loki ,which I admitted right after that it wasn't true, I don't know what else I've that can be seen as outlandish.

I'm not even sure what the argument is here really. I'm agreeing with multiple posters with different view points. All these studios have had their fair share of hits and misses. WB, Sony, Fox, Marvel Studios or Disney, etc. They've all produced atleast 2-3 comic book movies that I've liked and enjoyed considerably, as well as stinkers that I can't stand.

People are calling pturtle a fanboy have no room to talk. If there's one thing I don't agree with it's the whole "this character needs to come back home to it's rightful studio" nonsense. If you have used that term, you're as much of a fanboy/#teamcuck as they come.

Does anyone really care about these movies all being connected anymore? For me it lost it's appeal around Iron Man 3. Who gives a flying **** about a shared universe anymore? I'm actually dreading something as good and unique as the Guardians of the Galaxy sharing screen time with everyone's favorite New Yorkers. WB's Justice League universe? I desperately want Batman and Superman doing their own thing again and it hasn't even been one year. I just want to see some quality films/stories, I don't care about canon or world building. It was fun in Avengers, it all worked and I loved it. The pay off was there. But now it's lost it's luster. When I was watching Logan for instance, I really wasn't too concerned whether the canon or universe of the world in which it took place, I just enjoyed it as is own thing for what it was, a good film.

I think a lot of people still want to see characters that interact in comics interact onscreen. I know internet fandom is often a "who's the most over it" contest but in general I think comic fans still want to see it. Same way people pay lots of money to see multiple viewings of X-Men and Avengers movies alike, despite the vocal minority ringing the death knell on this one or that.

We're just busting your shell, your posts are always insightful and highly appreciated.

They also lack little anime creatures which is always a plus lol.

It's probably your avatar and signature. :lol

They are subconsciously affecting me.

Woah! Maybe you should give this New Yorker those tickets :lol

I actually enjoyed Guardians, it's the only other Marvel movie outside of Iron Man 1 that I can say is good.

And holy crap yea, I just realized I'm being called a fanboy for trying to point out the fanboyish things I'm reading. The same people in here that were praising Logan, are saying Fox needs to relinquish the rights. I was just pointing out how utterly ridiculous that is :lol

If it was someone like Ink who's conditioned himself not to like anything not MCU related then I would understand. But these chants are coming from people that enjoy FoX-Men films.

Clown Prince admitted to like the good X-Men films more than the MCU movies.

And Jye's favorite superhero movie of all time is Logan :lol

Why would these guys want the X-Men to go to the MCU then? That's what I was getting at. I'm assuming colorful costumes and they want to see the X-Men eating some shawarma with the Avengers, that's the only reason I can think of :lol

I think we're just ****ing with each other for the hell ofit when it comes down to it. There's nothing left to really do. :lol

Excuse me while I go and convince a-dev that Terminator 2 sucks, even though I love it myself. Brb

Yes Logan and TDK are tops for me.

Yes I want to see all of the Marvel characters back at....you ready.....Marvel!

:lol :lol :lol

Hey man, your name is The Clown Prince, yet I know you didn't love Suicide Squad.

Yeah, haha...it's not like I secretly love Leto's joker and have all his figures and a Leto wallpaper on my laptop...haha....that'd be crazy...haha

:lol :lol :lol

I can respect the honesty, now if Clown Prince would be so kind to admit he's a Misney employee, this debate could finally come to an end :lol

Techically Marvel isn't Marvel anymore. It's Disney. They're in a weird zone. "Going back to Marvel" isn't necessarily a good thing, just look at their recent comic books. :lol

Same with Star Wars. Star Wars isn't necessarily Star Wars anymore.

I do t know about you all but I don't want to see xmen buried cause of studio grudges. I don't want that low tier gotg or inhumans replacing xmen in the world. Yea I think Logan was good but can you honestly top that movie now? That is supposed to be the end of the xmen franchise. Nobody cares about timelines and such.

Really want to see the xmen back on top. The thing is with Spider-Man they kept ****ing up and the likes of Thor were becoming more popular , I don't want xmen to do so either.

I don't care if marvel or fox does it to be honest I just want somthing more grounded. I've seen the damn Phoenix saga before. Let's have an actual team that does t change every film.

Agreed. It's getting annoying. Now every movie is trying to connect. Hell even Disney is trying to connect all there movies. It's annoying. Comics had other heroes running around but they didn't bump into each other everyday.
Yea I love seeing the interactions between the characters but the story must be good.
